He is happy to keep it in his mouth for hours at a time as we go about our day. The ribbon like front design of the NUK orthodontic pacifier is attractive and practical for attaching to a pacifier clip. The pacifier is nice and light and it comfortably fits over his mouth and under his nose. The front button is easy for him to grab onto and hold and he can take the pacifier out of his mouth and pop it back in with ease on his own. He prefers the orthodontic curved nipple design as it imitates breast feeding, he finds it to be very comforting. I like that this pack comes with one pacifier who&rsquo;s button glows in the dark. This has helped us locate the pacifier in his crib when it popped out after he went to sleep. It's a useful bonus feature and might help you find it, if it happened to fall under the seat in your car for example. These pacifiers are comforting, easy to clean and make a great gift for new parents. My 2 month old is exclusively breastfeeding and I&rsquo;ve struggled to get him to take a pacifier, having tried a lot of the more rounded options on the market. This pacifier has the more flat, traditional pacifier shape and to my surprise he took it much better! I also loved the glow in the dark feature as it did make it slightly easier to find the pacifier during the night. I did keep the pacifier in the light most of the day and it wasn&rsquo;t an overly bright glow in the middle of the night but was enough to help me locate it in the dark - this was huge because one of my biggest issues with pacifiers is that they are such a pain when the baby loses it in the middle of the night and starts crying. Even thought I still had to wake up to replace, the glow in the dark feature made that issue at least a little less annoying. They are the perfect lovey item with sweet patterns and an orthopedic design. My girl was hard to find a pacifier that she would take for her first month and while my boy took a pacifier easily early on, he has been refusing a pacifier for the past few weeks. I was hopeful that at least one of them would take this one! After a week of trying for both, it looks like these will be in the no pile. The pacifier calms them while I hold it in their mouth but this shape does not work for them. I like that this has a fairly flat front so the babies are less likely to accidentally knock it out of their mouth. My little is not very particular about his pacifiers, and because it is similar shape to many of the bottle nipples we have, I figured he would love it. My little did not seem to enjoy the shape and texture, but I do think the shape is great for a primarily breastfed baby since it mimics the shape of the nipple. The shape on the plastic is great for attaching a clip to it, and the designs are modern and sleek. The glow in the dark feature is pretty awesome and would be very helpful at night when my little is frantically searching for his pacifier. I gave 3 stars because my little instantly spit it out every time I tried to have him put it in his mouth. He even was able to explore it on his own and still did not seem to want to latch. The nipple is somewhat large and wide, so for those who prefer a smaller more narrow nipple this might not be the best option. I was thrilled with the offer because both of my littles have only ever liked the Nuk Orthodontic pacifiers despite trying a ton of different ones. There's something about the shape that they loved and they refused any other type of paci! We adore the glow in the dark feature because it makes it super easy to find at night (unless it's thrown behind the crib!), and I feel good about my youngest using it for sleep for 17 months now knowing that it won't interfere with her oral development. The only design feature that we miss in this style is the ring hook on the front that makes it easier for both parents and baby to grab and go. This thicker nub front without the hook is a little harder for baby to grab and we're just used to be able to loop our others easily around a finger when we're grabbing it. The nice thing about it is that my baby would take it whether it was right side up or upside down. In that sense it was versatile and worked out in his crib dark at night. The glow in the dark feature also helped a lot since his room is pitch black and he was still able to find the pacifier and put it in his mouth. The only problem with it was that the nipple shape and size is small and at times would fall out of baby&rsquo;s mouth unintentionally. I think if the size was a bit bigger it would work for my baby, however I liked the the shape of the pacifier for their little teeth and mouth. I found that this shape is better for their teeth overall. I think if it was a little bigger in size it would be perfect. The colors of the pacifier are very cute too! The silicone part is very soft and smooth so there wouldn&rsquo;t be anything do the baby to get there gums or tongue to rub on. I like the idea of the glow in the dark feature but with baby not taking it I can&rsquo;t say to the functionality of it. We went through so many before we found one that she liked. We made sure to have several because you know they get lost. When Stellar Product Testing Panel asked me to try out a new pacifier I was hesitant but decided to give it a shot. I&rsquo;m so glad I did because she loves these Nuk Orthodontic Pacifiers! When they came in I thought oh boy there&rsquo;s no way she&rsquo;s going to like them. They have a different shape and she&rsquo;s so picky. After washing them I popped it in her mouth and she kept going about her day like no big thing. Ummm who is this child?! Ok maybe she&rsquo;ll change her mind tomorrow or a week or month from now. Nope. She still loves them as much as the other one and now we have plenty. We keep some in the diaper bag, next to our bed, and in the kitchen just in case. As for what I love about them: they are easy to clean (just pop into dishwasher caddy), easy to attach to clips (as shown in picture), and can find them at night. Yes she can get her clip off which makes pacifiers difficult to find in the dark but the glow in the dark feature helped with that. I started using this pacifier with my baby when he was about 6 weeks old, and up until that point he had not really accepted any of the other pacifiers we tried (from two different name brands). He didn&rsquo;t immediately love this one the first time I tried it, but he very soon came to really love it when fussy and trying to fall asleep. It definitely soothes him at nighttime, and it&rsquo;s come in clutch for me multiples time when trying to lull him back to sleep when he wakes up! We have used it for a couple of weeks now, and this is the only pacifier that he will actually stay latched to. In my photo you&rsquo;ll see a very sleepy baby: the pacifier fell out of his mouth because he was soothed into a good nap in my arms! :) I didn&rsquo;t expect to really care about the glow in the dark feature, but it&rsquo;s ended up being a really nice bonus to have. During those &ldquo;lull him back to sleep when he wakes up&rdquo; moments when I&rsquo;m holding the baby and pacing around a dark room with him in my arms, it&rsquo;s *super* helpful to easily see that the pacifier is still in his mouth. Cons that take me down to one star: The fact that it has such a flat shape (on the glow-in-the dark side that is not in the baby&rsquo;s mouth) makes it tough for me to keep a good grip on when I pick it up and am about to give it to the baby. I drop this pacifier on the floor all the time. Additionally, the shape makes it so that it&rsquo;s a bit challenging to get the soap out of the nips when hand washing. I need to make a separate bowl of clean water to submerge it in to squeeze the soap out into. Not a big deal or too difficult really; just a bit annoying to have an extra step when cleaning. Overall, I love this pacifier. It&rsquo;s been a lifesaver. We love the fit and our baby prefers this one as it provides the best comfort given its shape. I believe this contributes to it also falling out less at night. An added bonus to these pacifiers is that it glows in the dark which takes the guessing game out for my husband and me when he does let go of it.
