My daughter was able to suck on it very well. The bottle says it prevents anti-colic which didn't make my child spit up her milk. I like it very much. He had colic and these bottles seriously helped more than any other and we tried many. I like how wide the top of the bottle is. It makes it so much easier not to spill when using powder formula. These are the only nipples he will use also. The best part again is how much air these bottles keep out. After searching for an alternative to the Tommee Tippee, I found reviews for the Mam bottles and decided to try. With the TT, I experienced so much overflow and running down the neck of baby, and an inverted nipple each time. It was really annoying and messy. I just thought that's how all bottles were. then I tried the Mam bottle and the feedings are much cleaner and easier. After seeing the imprint of my son's latch on my breast and seeing it was the same shape at the NUK bottles, I knew we would have no issues going from breast to bottle with these. My son drank from these with no issues and when I had to start using formula at 8 months old, he switched over perfectly. She no longer spits up after eating and likes the nipple. I love that the nipple flow adjust to how she sticks on it and it&rsquo;s super easy to clean. Cleaning the bottles is easy because there aren&rsquo;t many extra parts and that helps me save time. The 5oz bottle size is perfect for on the go and fit perfectly in my baby bag which is so important. Especially mine who has acid reflux and gas its design allows for her to not get so much air as normal bottles do. I&rsquo;d say 6 out of 10 didn&rsquo;t have the nipple open! Our poor baby was sucking so hard with no formula coming out before we realized this horrible quality control issue. Once we fixed that, these things still don&rsquo;t work well at all. I made sure the air vent is up, and still my baby got hardly any formula. Just a horrible frustrating experience when your newborn is crying for food at 2:00 am and this janky product stands between your baby and eating properly.
