Not only is the design aesthetically pleasing for me (more muted neutral designs that the other toddler cups we have) but it’s perfect for my toddler who desperately wants to have independence when drinking water and milk but has not quite mastered the control needed to keep the liquid in his cup. I really liked the soft silicone spout because there is nothing to accidentally poke himself with when running around, cup in hand. The handles feel really nice and I especially like the finger ridges. My toddler fully tested the range of spill proofing the cup provides and it did not disappoint. Straws can be flicked to send milk flying everywhere but this spout is just firm enough to prevent that. Even when left on its side for extended periods of time, no liquid leaked out. Finally, this cup is larger than most of the other toddler cups we have which is nice when we are on the go to make sure we don’t run out of milk. Highly recommend!
Date published: 2023-03-24

Rated 5 out of 5 by PaddyDaddy from Solid Sippy [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and put it into immediate action with our 18 month old. We've been weaning him off bottles, have him down to just one each night and trying to get him to use sippy cups more. He liked this Nuk cup as much as any other we've tried with him. He was able to easily drink out of it, and we've experienced no dripping or spilling issues at all with it. I also like the option to use or remove the handles - we're using them right now but envision they'll come off like training wheels sometime after his 2nd birthday.
Date published: 2023-03-23

Rated 4 out of 5 by Snowangel from Good Beginner Cup [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this training cup. Let me say this cup was easy for my daughter to drink from and was very spill proof. She is almost 2 and has been using various different cups and was able to pick this one up without issue. I originally tried to use the cup with the handles which made it very easy for her to handle the cup. I also have tried removing them for her and she is able to grab the cup and handle it very well. Everything on the cup breaks down very easily to be able to wash all of the parts, so I’m not worried about mold growing on the cup over time. The only reason I gave the cup 4 stars is that if you are trying to screw the lid on with the handles it’s somewhat difficult as the handles spin independently from the lid and the lid is very narrow. This made somewhat hard to know if the lid is screwed on all the way.
Date published: 2023-03-23

Rated 2 out of 5 by Bfowlball from Great for no spill but bad for drinking [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] NUK for Nature Large Learner Cup is great for keeping water in and not spilling, but it is terrible for drinking from and getting anything out of the cup. It seems that the spout has to be bitten to release any kind of liquid and my child could not figure it out. I also prefer to stay away from bite-to-drink cups. I was thankful that the cup was as spill proof as it was since my child carried around a full cup all the time without the ability to drink from it. He’s been pretty particular about only drinking milk from a bottle and our hopes were that he would be willing to drink it from this cup, but so far he has not been willing probably because this cup is definitely more like a sippy cup than a bottle. He will drink water out of it, but he also drinks water from a variety of other cups as well. The silicone spout is pliable and soft, which I like, but hasn’t seemed to help our little one with transitioning away from the bottle (yet). I do love that this cup is completely spill-proof, so I don’t have to worry about where he takes it in the house because I know it won’t spill! One caveat to this is that if you hold the bottle completely upside down for very long, one or two drops will come out, but it's literally just a drop or two, so that doesn't bother me at all. I like that it is also a more slender cup & that we can remove the handles if we’d like (so far, we’ve just kept them on). Overall, a great learner cup even though my little one hasn’t been willing to drink his milk from it yet! There are no extra weird valves or spaces for liquids to get stuck in so it’s very easy to take apart and wash. Basically just a simple, easy to use cup- which they all should be! It doesn’t look like anything special, just a simple hybrid between bottle and sippy cup. But my baby chooses it over all the other sippy and straw cups we’ve tried. He had been exclusively breastfed until 1 year old and wouldn’t even take a bottle when we started trying to wean. This cup was the only thing he would accept. That’s a win for me! I like that the nipple feels like a bottle nipple but is shaped like a sippy. It isn’t spill proof, especially if your baby likes to shake their cup at all. But it has a spill proof lid you can pop over the nipple (just like a bottle) and that has been sufficient for me. The silicone spout is great because it will not hurt their teeth and it is much easier to regulate temperature. It is also easier to wash since it is removable. The soft silicone spout is super easy for infants to drink out of without any spills. My baby girl knocks them over all the time and I barely witnessed a spill. The only time water leaked out was when she pressed the spout up against the floor as the bottle was upside down. I do like the removable handles, as it gives me and my daughter options. My daughter doesn't like holding bottles or cups for some reason and prefers handles ever since she was very little. I guess she likes having that control over the bottle without it possibly slipping through her tiny hands. You can eventually take them off when your child has better motor control. I was given the NUK for Nature Large Learner Cup to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It’s awesome to have a larger option for her now as she’s older and bigger. Highly recommend this cup.
Date published: 2023-03-23

Rated 4 out of 5 by Rkollz from No mess sippy cup [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The Nuk sippy cup is my preferred cup as we transition my one year old from her bottle. The silicone nipple was easy for her use from day one and doesn't drip or spill. She did need help tipping up the bottle to drink at the beginning, but has since figured it out. It's easy to clean without need for any special brushes. It also holds up to being thrown off a high chair without any spills or breaks. The large volume is a plus as we can use it for formula, milk, or water and allows for more longevity in use. I will likely purchase another one as we use it daily.
Date published: 2023-03-23

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bvisser from Perfect transition cup [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been dreading switching my daughter from bottles to a sippy cup but using the NUK for nature large learner cup she figured it out on her first try. She has been using NUK bottles for milk since she was a newborn and the similar soft spout of the NUK sippy cup made the transition very easy. She has never held her bottles but with the handles of this cup now she holds it and it makes my life so much easier. I also love that the cup is spill proof so I don’t have to worry about where I set her down with the cup. The handles are easy to secure and provide the perfect amount of space between the handle and the cup. The soft silicone spout is an easy spout for my little one to drink from. He tends to chew on tops so I like that the spout is soft and the hard plastic won't hurt his teeth. The cup was 100% spill proof, he has dropped it multiple times on accident and not a single drop was spilled. This cup is a very functional cup and the removable handles help ease the transition progress. One very important feature of this cup is it's easy to clean! I think we will get great use out of this cup! When looking for a cup to start transitioning from bottles, leakproof was a priority. I was immediately optimistic about this cup because of the NUK brand name. I was not disappointed. No spills. It’s durable and easy to disassemble and throw in the dishwasher. The silicone is very thick, which is important because my daughter will chew on everything. It shows little sign of wear despite her chomping. I only wish that I had a slightly smaller size, as the 10 oz bottle can be somewhat challenging for my little one to lift while she drinks. I look forward to seeing how this cups transitions to no handles as my child grows. The first day I gave it to my son, he dragged it everywhere with him and wouldn't let it go. He definitely loves it. I didn't see one drop of water spill out even while it was being rolled around on the floor. The handles on the cup are so easy for him to hold onto. And it's nice that you can also remove them. I wasn't sure how long it would take for him to figure out how to tip it up so he could drink, but after a couple times of showing him how, he caught on. The silicone spout makes it fun and easy for him to drink out of it. It's also nice that the cup is light enough for my son to handle easily on his own. My 1.5 year old still likes a bottle and is pretty picky about what she uses to drink milk but she took to this cup instantly. Her biggest issue is she sometimes drinks from it with the spout upside down so she can't always get to the liquid, but she's learning. For me, the biggest plus is that it seems to be totally leak and spill proof so far. My daughter walks around with it, sets it down sideways, waves it around, and no leaks or spills yet. Like at all. It's kind of shocking. The handles make it so easy for the baby to hold, and it's nice that they can be removed if she no longer wants them as she grows. The top is a little difficult to screw off, I need to use a towel usually, but that is minor and I will continue to use this cup for my daughter.
Date published: 2023-03-22

Rated 5 out of 5 by ChristinaW from I freaking love this cup [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After months and months of baby bottles and the multi-step cleaning process required I was THRILLED to reach the stage where I could give my kiddo a sippy cup. But it turns out, not all kiddos love all sippy cups and we were at a bit of a stand-off until we tried the NUK cup. I have no idea why but my 1 year old loves the drinking experience (and especially loves the little handles on the sides) and I love being able to put the whole thing in the dishwasher. She could easily pick it up with the removable handles, so I liked that, but the nipple portion was just not fast enough for her and she easily got frustrated with it when the water or milk wasn't coming out as fast as she wanted. For context, although my daughter is still breastfed, she has already transitioned to a sippy cup with a straw that she can pick up without the handles when she's not breastfeeding, so I think this cup was maybe just too juvenile for her now. If you have an older infant or a new toddler, I'd say pass on this one. That said, the design of this large learner cup is absolutely adorable, the optional handles are a huge addition and I think it would be great for an infant to learn from before they are advanced enough to drink from a straw and can handle a faster flow, so maybe a child 6-9 months? I also really liked that it could hold more than the standard 4-oz sippy cups and probably would have been great for my daughter if she were a bit younger.
Date published: 2023-03-22

NUK for Nature Learner Cup, 10oz, 1PK Reviews - page 4

y_2025, m_7, d_4, h_4

bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.42

cp_3, bvpage2n

co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_95

loc_en_CA, sid_34589B3D, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]

clientName_toysrus-ca

bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0

CLOUD, getReviews, 6ms

reviews, product
