I have found that my baby moves his legs well before he wakes and cries so a video monitor is great. This was easy to set up, but sometimes loses connection and has to be reconnected. I love that I can use my cell phone and the power cord is really long, but it does drain your battery. I ended up getting a cheap audio cam to use when my phone battery is low.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I was gifted the dream sock and my coworkers bought me the matching baby cam which I can view anytime in the app. I LOVE all three…the sock, cam, and app! Anytime he even wiggles his sock loose it sings a gentle song alerting me to check. This doesn’t happen often but for this tired momma it’s such a blessing to know, along with safe sleep practices, that this product is helping me keep my little one safe! The two-way audio and the room temp/humidity features are bonuses I didn’t expect but have come to love, esp the latter in this heat wave! Their customer service is fantastic when I had a questions, too. I am a “reuse”/“upcycle” kind of mom yet I would invest in this again…worth every penny! I would 100% recommend!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Ehhh, when it works then it works but when it doesn’t work it’s frustrating. This cam bundled with 2 sock monitors is what we initially bought a year ago. It does the job when it wants to. There is always on going connection issues between the wifi and base, the sock and base, our phones and the cam not loading. It’s been an on going issue, after issue, after issue. Somehow the cam is always losing connection and is “offline”. The sock is always “disconnected from base station” and now notifications aren’t coming through like they had been. Also, there seems to always be a “sock placement issue” even though we’ve placed it accordingly like the instructional videos have told us. My wife and I’s child was running a high fever and heart rate increased above 220/bpm. According to the owlet cam instructions and notifications information the app/ cam/ sock is suppose to alert us. I was at the fire station and my wife was at home holding our child when his HR went above 220/bpm. Neither her nor I received any notification informing us of the high heart rate. My wife just barely heard the alert from the base station that is in his nursery and immediately jumped up to make sure he was okay. This type of negligence and failure to notify shouldn’t be happening for something we spent a lot of money on to help protect our child. We ended up taking our child to the ER. Upon being discharged, several hours later, we place the sock on our child again and the cam was not working. If there is a better monitor out there I would highly recommend checking the reviews, pros and cons between the two and make your best judgement decision. Like I said, when it works it works when it doesn’t work it’s frustrating.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have a real love/hate for this monitor. The quality and aesthetics of the camera are wonderful and the night vision is phenomenal. However, it is purely wifi. So if wifi drops or the signal is not strong enough, you’re SOL. In addition, it runs through an app so if your phone goes through an update overnight (apple sends then so much), then it will default off the audio in the “background” thus no longer monitoring the baby. For these reasons i wish there was a work around for that or even better- a base you can purchase instead of using my phone. In addition, when a babysitter comes i have to give them the password and reset them all. If I had a base this wouldn’t be a problem. It seems in the baby cam market either you have then run off a base or WIFI. There is not too many at all that offer both so this really could set owlet apart. It connects easily to wifi and links to the phone. I do like the light on the camera that displays when it’s in use or not in use. I had one loss in connection and I unplugged the camera and plugged it back in, 5 seconds later it works just fine.</span>

I do have to say we were looking for a camera for the longest time then one day my wife yelled me about the owlet camera thing is fast to connect an to install one cool thing I liked is they give you the pieces to hide the wires so they aren’t hanging over the baby the sound quality is great video quality is superb hadn’t have one problem with it if your looking for some thing that’s will give you peace of mind This is the camera for you another great thing I can check up on the baby from anywhere I was two hours away at work an it worked as if I was on the home wifi you won’t regret it.</span>

The room temp notifications are amazing and the best part was how easy it was to set up. No hassle, the app walks you through step by step. Would definitely recommend.

<span itemprop="description">For new moms I would recommend you get a owlet camera trust me, if you ever need to go in another room or cook you a quick meal or anything just have the owlet camera on and have your phone on you so you can be able to hear and see that your baby is fine also you can talk through the owlet camera aswell. RECOMMEND!!!</span>

We LOVE the Owlet camera. We had tried several other cameras before finding the Owlet that we could watch from our phones to be able to check in from the house or if we were away and the kids were left with babysitters and the Owlet is by far the best. The first two other brands we bought frequently disconnected or had poor picture quality. The Owlets have worked great and have a super clear picture. We could easily see our baby breathing which was great for our piece of mind. If you use the Owlet sock it's even better because everything is accessed from the same app so you don't need multiple monitors to carry around etc.
The other great thing with Owlet is that you can keep the sound on in the background while your phone is closed so you can still hear everything without having to keep the picture constantly up, which was a feature we couldn't find elsewhere.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We bought this a few weeks ago because our son had started climbing out of his crib and it works great to see what he’s up to without disturbing him by opening the door! We really wanted a camera that had encryption features built in but found many did not, but the Owlet cam does! I knew the product would live up to our standards as we had purchased the owlet sock and had nothing but great things to say about it.

<span itemprop="description">We purchased the camera as part of the kit a month prior to our baby arrival. We love that we can access the camera using the app on our phones and the image is extremely clear. The only downside is that sometimes the camera goes offline on our phone.

<span itemprop="description">I was gifted this camera for my birthday when my daughter was 7 months old. At that time she was sleeping in a bassinet in our bedroom so I really didn’t see the need for this camera. When I got a job offer I realized I needed to sleep train my baby in her room. Anybody who sleep trained their child will understand. It’s a very difficult process and parents need to be strong and most importantly patient. With this camera I could watch my baby to make sure she’s safe throughout the night. It was a lifesaver for us. My daughter is turning two years old next month and I can’t imagine my life without this gadget. I watch her from work to make sure my husband put her to bed on time or dressed her appropriately for nap. I absolutely recommend this camera to all parents!</span>
