<span itemprop="description">We spent 7 days in the NICU staring at an O2 monitor and asked the nurses and doctors how we could keep monitoring his O2 levels when we got home. Everyone in the NICU recommended the Owlet and even had parents bring it to the NICU to compare accuracy. It is even better than the NICU monitor because the Owlet will filter the false alarms that can cause a parent to panic. When baby wiggles their feet a lot there is no O2 sensor that can maintain accuracy and the levels will drop causing the NICU monitor alarms to go off.... panic. But Owlet calmly give you a "baby wiggly feet" icon until it can pick up accurately again.</span>

<span itemprop="description">As a first time parent I was warned about the sleepless nights. My wife and I read the books, watched the videos, did the classes in preparation for our little one. The day came and she finally arrived and all of our training, reading, and prep work went out the window. You are always warned about sleepless nights but no one really tells you why. For us the cause of our ever diminishing slumber was the constant checking to make sure my little one was still breathing. I like to think that all new parents do this but who knows. The Owlet foot monitor has really put our minds at ease. As she sleeps the monitor helps us to relax after and spend time together as a couple. I still wish it was 5G compatible but it still works great.</span>

Like everything, it isn't perfect. The monitor at the NICU went off quite a bit due to not on the foot just right. Can't wait until technology allows this to be full proof. But until then, I'm glad we have this to make our minds at easy.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have used this product for my first baby, and only regret was not having it from the moment I got home. I loved this product because after finally getting it when my daughter was almost 2 weeks old, I was able to sleep while my baby slept! Now with baby number #2, I upgraded to the version 3 cam duo and I love it even more. As if that was possible!!! but now I can more easily charge it and set-up was a breeze. The camera is clear and easy to access on my phone. I like having it on the background without having to the screen open. Needless to say I love the combination, I have also used the sleep lab and that is a great feature too, its like having a super many help you help your babies sleep. I have gifted the owlet sock and I have share it between babies because I know how much a difference it made in my life!
Also, in all my time using it I have not had a false alarm. I urge everyone to read the directions and ensure they have proper placement. The new sock makes this even easier to achieve. But I think the issue people have are more so linked to a loose sock, or incorrectly placed sock. Either way I rather wake 1million times with false alarms than not to wake up in the event of a real event.
Finally, I opted for this product over some others because I can move my baby in the middle or the night from her crib to the bassinet in my room, or the pak-n-play in my living room. Some of the other options out there you need to move the camera to continue the monitoring, which is not always going to be ideal because as we know babies wake up, get sick, need more attention, sleep regressions, ect. either way they might not always go to sleep in the same place.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We intended to buy this item, but before we could, we had a group of friends come together and purchase it for us. I have to say it was one of the nicest gifts we've ever received. We've been using the sock every night for the past 2 weeks and couldn't be happier. Initially it seemed like it might be a bit too big for our 6lb boy, but it's worked fine without a hiccup. As a first time parent, it's a great tool to give you peace of mind at night while your little one is sleeping, giving you a much easier time to get more quality sleep for yourself. We temporarily have the camera set up in our room looking over the bassinet, and the clarity of the video and audio are great! I love the daily reports the app gives you on your child's sleep and how the graph shows at what points they were awake or in a deep sleep. I would highly recommend this to any parent that wants added security when it comes to their child's well-being.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought the sock and camera duo, and have used the sock since bringing baby home and tested the camera as well. The sock meets my expectations, though I wish the battery could last throughout the day and night, or perhaps it should come with a second unit that you could charge while using the other. It has gone off once in two weeks on what seemed like a false alarm since baby was fine, but it could have been too loose on her foot. I think as long as the person purchasing it realizes that, similar to what the company says, it isn't hospital grade and should only be used in addition to looking out for other signs when baby may be in distress (rather than it going off and the user calling the doctor immediately) I think this product is great piece of mind during nighttime sleeping. I would recommend it for anyone like me that gets nervous but it's still fully informed on what to keep an eye out for if the alarm sounds.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I would like to start off by saying that Owlet has been a saving grace for my wife and I. We bought this after 3 months after my son was born. Our main concern is SIDS and the ability to monitor our son remotely and check the temperature of the room. The smart sock has given us that ability to monitor his vitals and alarm us if our son’s oxygen level or heart beat go out of a safe range. The camera allows us to watch him remotely and also check the temperature of the room. The app has many other features that are a bonus for us. The smart sock reports reading and you can create a report of the history of his reading incase their was any issues and you could compare. I recommend the owlet, gives you a peace a mind and a safety net incase as parents we miss any that might need attention.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Bought the kit right before our daughter arrived and I’m super glad we did. She wound up spending some time in the NICU, and as scary as that experience was, having the constant monitoring was a surprising comfort. The sock and camera provide a super easy way to keep an eye on our daughter during the little bits of sleep we manage to sneak in!</span>
