I have a two-week old who is getting used to this pacifier, but I have not been pushing it for her to use often, as she is getting used to nursing and does not necessarily need this soothing aid yet. When she is ready, I will be using these pacifiers! These were the pacifiers my first child used exclusively and we love them. They are easy to clean, and the nipple size and shape are excellent for breastfed babies. The simple design allows for easy, effective. In the past, we used the translucent-colored soothies, but I really love the matte color on these! I&rsquo;m a FTM with a 2.5 week old, we&rsquo;ve used these often. The color of the pacifier is great I love the soft pink. The shape of the pacifier was a huge hit with myself and baby girl. The easy shape makes it easy to hold and for her to latch. The pacifiers were easy to clean and are a very sturdy pacifier. What I like the most is the lack of scent. I have a very sensitive sense of smell and really dislike products with an odor, but unlike most silicone products, this one didn't have any scent. I like that it was designed to allow fingers to be inserted. My baby enjoyed it when I played with it using my fingers. Compared to her other pacifiers, this one is similar in thickness to a baby's thumb, so there was less resistance. The one piece design is a plus to me. It was convenient to clean in the dishwasher and to sterilize in the sterilizer. The part that the baby bites is very soft, which is also good. I like the pastel color more than the colors of her other pacifiers. If it were too brightly colored, I would worry that the material might not be good for the baby. The protruding part seems to act as a handle, but I think it would be better if the corners were rounded. I also think that if there were a hole, a ring could be attached to prevent the pacifier from falling. Of course, there is a hole on top, but attaching a ring there would make it uncomfortable for the baby's face, so I didn't attach it. My baby is 4 weeks old and exclusively breastfed. We&rsquo;ve tried a few other pacifiers but she didn&rsquo;t like them and would spit them out almost instantly. These are the first pacifiers that she&rsquo;ll actually suck on for a few minutes and she&rsquo;s even fallen asleep with one a few times. My baby has a small mouth and the shape and size of these worked well for her. These have a different texture than the other ones we&rsquo;ve tried and aren&rsquo;t as slippery which I think has something to do with her liking them more. As the mom, I like how easy the finger hold makes it for me to hold it in her mouth without my hand getting near her mouth or the nipple, as shown in my photo. This helps keep it clean even when we&rsquo;re out an about. They&rsquo;re also very easy to clean, we just rinse them and then put them in our sanitizer with the nipple up so no water sits in the nipple portion. The unique shape is intriguing with the finger hold, however my little girl would not utilize this feature and prefers the grab of the Philips Avent Ultra Soft pacifier. She also prefers the nipple of the other pacifier. Now moving on to the quality, my 2 month old loves it. It is soft and is perfect for breastfed babies. I breast and bottle feed and my newborn had no issues using the Phillips Avent Soothie pacifier. The surprising thing is I&rsquo;ve only used one brand and she didn&rsquo;t like the other brands but she latched to this brand quickly. The only thing I would say is that it is large and almost covers her nose maybe if they add an indent at the top it would be perfect. To my surprise he stuck with it and it really helped soothe him! This has been the only pacifiers that my baby will take. It made him gag sometimes, but once he latched onto it, it was fine. I really like the colors of these pacifiers because it doesn&rsquo;t get cloudy like the standard green model. I also appreciate that they come in a two pack so I can keep one in the diaper bag and one on hand. The finger hold is a nice interactive piece for us at this age because my baby can&rsquo;t hold onto it yet. The nipple is nice and soft as well. Since the pacifier is all one piece, it is easy to clean and you can have peace of mind knowing there is no water stuck inside of it. A few things I wish the pacifier had are a loop to hold onto. While there are holes for a pacifier clip, it is inconvenient to carry the pacifier and other things for your baby without it. Also, there is not much for the baby to latch onto since it is just a nipple on a flat base. I wish it mimicked the breast more in that aspect because I noticed the pacifier would easily fall out. Lastly, the circular base does bump into my son&rsquo;s nose. If you can over look these things then this is might be a good fit for your little one! She&rsquo;s 3 months old, and we've tried a variety of them so far, including newborn, heart-shaped, and the standard Soothie. I have them in my car, stroller, living room, bassinet&mdash;everywhere! These new ones are a nice pastel color and are more attractive than the standard blue and green Soothies. They match a lot of my baby's outfits better and I appreciate the neutral color. I also appreciate the less 'sticky' texture because I have a Persian cat, and I'm constantly rinsing the other Soothies to remove fur. The new ones definitely pickup less fuzz. I'm currently transitioning the baby out of the bassinet, and if I give her one of these, she falls asleep in seconds. This might be the key to success in her new sleep space. My daughter was born premature so it is even more important for me to be able to breastfeed her. Philips Avent Soothie was provided by the NICU and ever since my daughter was born it&rsquo;s the only pacifier she would use. The finger hold makes it easy for me to secure it while I hold her. Because it&rsquo;s one piece, it&rsquo;s so easy to clean. We never had problems with it! As a first time mom to a one month old, I would recommend this pacifier as a solid option. I&rsquo;ve seen many friends with these pacifiers and know these are the type carried by many hospitals, so I was excited to try these out at home. The shape is different compared to many that contour to the face. I think this would work better for older babies with greater suction strength. My one month old struggled to keep the pacifier in his mouth as the weight of the large circular piece outside the mouth seemed to be too much for his little mouth to support. However, the large circular piece with the tab did make it so that I could prop the pacifier near his mouth if it did come out. I tried using the finger hold at the center on the pacifier but found my finger would get stuck. I preferred to hold the tab or just press the pacifier up against his mouth. He seemed to have no issue with the shape of the piece that went into his mouth. I like that it is similar to a bottle nipple. I prefer a more basic aesthetic, so I love that these pacifiers are simple in their design and are just one piece, which also makes them easy to clean. The muted yellow and blue colors are much preferred over some of the more vibrant options that are out there on the market. Besides needing more suction strength (which will come as he gets older), there&rsquo;s a reason these pacifiers are so popular. Cleaning for the first use was extremely easy and simple, it requires being in boiling water for 5 minutes and then squeezing water out of the nipple. I feel that the product kept its integrity and is still strong after being boiled. When I washed them after use, I just used a mild soap and warm water. Again, they kept its integrity and look the same as when I first received them.
