When i received this product I was skeptical only because I&rsquo;ve tried pacifiers that were shaped like this and my baby did not like them. The shape wasn&rsquo;t my favorite because of the lack of anatomical features, but by surprise my son took likeness to it the first time trying it (he&rsquo;s a breastfed baby). The pacifier is super soft so I think that helped him a lot. The gender neutral colors were a plus, it gave a very modern look and didn&rsquo;t overpower the design. I also loved the finger hold. It helps me assist with his latch until he gets a good suckle. These Soothies were no exception. I enjoyed the compact size and easy-to-clean design of these Soothies, but unfortunately she still didn&rsquo;t take to them. Well, first off, my baby has decided she doesn't like ANY pacifiers, so it's hard to say how well these compare to other pacifiers. However, I will say I like the shape of the pacifier that allows you to put your finger in and allows baby to kind of suck on your finger while using the pacifier. The colors of the pacifiers were pleasant - muted pastel purple and pastel pink. The silicone is soft and easy to clean. There are also two small holes in the pacifier to attach one of those pacifier lanyards. They've thought of a lot of things in the pacifier design. My primary problem with this pacifier is that it doesn't seem to be designed with orthodontic health in mind. The shape of the pacifier could change the shape of the baby's teeth and jaw if used consistently. Babies can develop arched and narrow soft palates from chronic use of pacifiers, and this one doesn't seem any different from all the others in this regard. These pacifiers are very similar to the ones provided by the hospitals once you give birth. The only difference in my opinion is that they are more pliable, is a more comfortable fit, and come in different colors. I like the finger hold option which comes with traditional and simple pacifiers. It comes in a solid neutral colors and I like that as it can match various of his outfits. They are very easy to clean and boil! You don&rsquo;t have to be scared if there is any hidden bacteria as it is all transparent and one material. I have two older boys who often carried my newborn and they loved being able to put their finger in the finger hold. My daughter enjoyed these pacifiers in so far as they were held on. I will mention that I knocked a star off because my daughter could not latch to these without keeping my finger in there the entire time. They would fall out of her mouth, but I think it's due to the heavy bottom. It did help put her to bed and they didn't seem to make her get any extra air, causing painful gas, so I really appreciated that aspect of the design. I would also like to mention that the color variety is awesome! They are very gender neutral and it's just nice to have a good variety of colors when searching for pacifiers. The aesthetic is cool and modern and I definitely appreciated that. The best part about these, how easy they were to wash and how they fit in most of my universal binky holders. It was great to travel with, as my kids had fun being able to give their baby sister a pacifier. Overall, I would recommend these pacifiers as I don't so much mind the fact that they don't stay put. As a mom of a 7 week old, I have spent the first several weeks trying to find a pacifier to help soothe my LO. She rejected several different brands and types of pacifiers. My LO had a tongue and lip tie that were recently fixed and as a result has had trouble sucking and keeping pacifiers in her mouth. After receiving the Philips Avent Soothie and trying it for a couple weeks, it was apparent that it would not work for us ad she was not able to keep the pacifier in her mouth. Despite not working for us, I realized early on it is very well made and was an excellent product. I&rsquo;m not sure how it would attach to a pacifier clip. I still gave it 4 stars because the material was sturdy and smooth. I loved that it was one piece which reduces the risk of mold and make it very easy to clean. My little one took to this pacifier easily compared to some other brands. The finger hold makes it easy to control when taking the pacifier in and out of babies mouth. They are soft and sturdy and easily attach to a pacifier leash. Because they&rsquo;re one piece, I don&rsquo;t have to worry about them coming apart in baby&rsquo;s hands or when washing them. There is no space for water to get stuck after washing and they&rsquo;re a breeze to clean quickly. We like that they have a finger hold which makes it easier to hold the paci in while soothing and rocking. The hole is the perfect size for you to put your finger in to get your baby started if they aren&rsquo;t readily accepting the pacifier when you first try. Another great feature is the tab on the back that you can attach the Soothie Snuggle Pacifier Holder (need to purchase separately) so that the pacifier is easier to locate and nice for baby to hold onto. I also loved how easy it was to hold the pacifier in my baby&rsquo;s mouth for him compared to other pacifiers. But then we got the Philips Avent Soothie in these perfect neutral colors!! The tan is perfect for sad beige mom moments :) and the light baby blue matches so many of his sleepers and outfits. I also really like how these pacifiers are a softer silicone material than the standard green ones as well. We throw these in the dishwasher when it&rsquo;s time to clean them and feel confident that they&rsquo;re getting clean as they don&rsquo;t have anywhere for water to get trapped. I especially like the ease of washing and sanitizing these due to the one-piece design. There are no hidden nooks or crannies for dirt to get stuck in which is nice! The finger hold is easy to use and I really like the solid trendy colors. Unfortunately, my almost exclusively breastfed baby did not take to them and was unable to keep them in her mouth (reason for the missing star). I gave them several attempts, and every time she was not able to figure them out. They are a different shape from the pacifiers and bottles we have been using. I was sad she didn&rsquo;t take to them as they are a great design and I like the price point of them. I know when I had all of my children this is what they give out at the hospital. This is the first time I've seen this opaque color though! My newborn took to these 0-3month ones right away. One thing I love about these is the shape, especially the finger hold, Great breathability and super easy to clean. There are no ridges for things to get stuck, and I can toss them in the steam sterilizer bags and they hold up great. I've had some soothies for years and I've yet to notice them degrading at all. I also love that they sell larger sizes for when baby gets older too. I'm sticking with Philips Avent soothies as long as my kids are taking pacifiers. Additionally, this pacifier is very well constructed and has shown zero sign of breaking down/cracking or clouding with cleaning. The colors I received are very pleasing to the eye and make them visually easy to locate when your little one is looking for some soothing time. My baby really seems to enjoy the shape of the nipple on this pacifier, taking to it easily and seemingly making it her favorite to use now. It is lightweight, so my little one does not need to struggle to keep it in her mouth and the finger hold is a fantastic feature that also helps support my little one&rsquo;s use of her pacifier. Lastly, I did not detect any smells with this product and it has not attracted all those annoying fuzzies that others seem to do. I will note that they do have a little bounce to them if they are dropped, so that could be interesting trying to locate it at times. However, the beautiful colors truly do make them easy to find. My daughter is 1 month old and absolutely loves this pacifier. I liked how durable the silicone is. I also loved the hole in the middle so that I could put my finger in it and help baby latch. I also really liked the colors- the pink and purple are great for our baby girl. These pacifiers are also super easy to clean. I can easily place them in our sterilizer. The downside of these pacifiers is the tacky material that causes particles to stick to the surface. Another downside is the size, it takes up the baby's entire face and also has a tendency to fall out in newborns as it is heavy for them to suck on. Overall loved the design of this pacifier for our newborn. For example, a 0&amp;ndash;2 month pacifier used by an older baby could cause the shield to be taken into the mouth. In case of this event, do not panic. It cannot be swallowed and is designed to cope with such an event.
