I&rsquo;m an exclusively breastfeeding mom so I wanted to make sure any pacifier we used wouldn&rsquo;t lead to nipple confusion. The nurse in the hospital gave us a soothie pacifier and my daughter instantly took to it. She never liked any of the other ones and now 2 years later we have at least 15 scattered throughout the house. Even with a nightlight in the nursery room, its virtually impossible to find the light pink and blue ones. The only one that I CAN find on her crib or on the carpet is the teal color one. Quality control dept, if possible make a periwinkle blue and/or fuschia pink. Darker colors will help future parents find their screaming baby's soothing paci at 2 in the morning! This pacifier is very well made and very light weight and soft around the mouth piece. Unfortunately my son didn&rsquo;t care for this style of pacifier. My only negative comment about this particular pacifier is the length of the nipple I feel like it can be/is to long for some babies. However this pacifier provides you a good option for the baby that is not fond of the round style nipple since this one is a flat. Lastly one of the best features of this combo pack is the case that they come. Not only do they keep them clean when packing them around but if you need to clean them from use and baby dropping them. All you have to do is add a little water into the case with the pacifiers and toss them in the microwave to sterilize them. That is big plus as for we all know how many times we have to pick them up off the floor. We had purchased others in advance and tried to switch to those and no luck. This is absolutely his favorite pacifier. There is something about the design that he prefers to all others. He finds it soothing when needed and they're easy for him to locate in the crib. The base is strong and firm, and the nipple itself is also firm. No. Philips Avent age guidelines are important. Pacifier nipples and shields vary in size, hardness, and shape. The age guidelines take into account the size and hardness of the nipples and shields. For example, a 0&amp;ndash;2 month pacifier used by an older baby could cause the shield to be taken into the mouth. In case of this event, do not panic. It cannot be swallowed and is designed to cope with such an event.
