This nipple was no different than all the other nipples out there. I am not sure that a baby needs to get food faster than what the 3 provides. It also doesn't interfere with breastfeeding which is great. No problems latching going back and forth from breast to bottle. The flow is very good and what makes them even better is that they are BPA free! They are also easy to clean and my baby loves them. We switched to this size after a few months when it seemed like my daughter was taking in a lot of air and I have to say these made a huge difference. This allowed for the liquid to come out faster and I felt that she was more comfortable and we had less burping as she didn't swallow as much air. I loved the bottles but my 2 year old was complaining the nipples that came with the bottles were too slow. So I was ecstatic to try these nipples with my daughter and she loved it. She rarely takes a bottle and only uses Avent. The nipple flow was perfect and it did not leak. My daughter is a fast eater, so the fast flow nipples were great for her and resulted in her sucking much less air while eating. How disappointing, the bottle won't stop leaking!!! My son likes to suck on a bottle of water to fall asleep, and when I go check on him before I go to bed, he is always soaking wet at the neck, I have had to wake him to change his PJ.
