We had been planning on purchasing these bottles even before they were sent to us. We&rsquo;ve been very happy with them overall. Both my 9 month old and 2 year old took these bottles quickly and liked them. The wide shape of the nipple seemed to be very easy for them to take. These nipples also seem to do a good job of preventing gas issues. These bottles are super easy to take apart and clean, and I love the fact that they are made of glass. It lets me have peace of mind about what goes on and in my kids&rsquo; bodies. The glass seems to be pretty durable too, which is important when the unavoidable drops happen. My husband had been wanting to try glass bottles so this was great for us. The bottle are super easy to assemble and wash. We currently use a bottle that has two extra pieces, and when you have to wash two extra pieces for all of the bottles you use throughout the day, it adds up. So this one only having four pieces was really nice. Our little man prefers a flatter nipple top, so he wasn&rsquo;t super excited to use this bottle when we gave it to him. After letting it roll around in his mouth for a little bit, he finally started to try and drink from it. The no leak nipple feature is great, especially if he&rsquo;s taking a break or pulls his head away because he&rsquo;s distracted, but the flow on the nipple when engaged was a little to fast for him and he still didn&rsquo;t seem thrilled about the shape. The bottle itself looks really sleek and has a good weight to it. It was easy to clean and dry too. I do wonder if the numbers and writing on the bottle will rubbed off at some point though from washing and general use. Since the top of the bottle is wider, we could not fit the top attachment over it when we were trying to heat the bottle up in our bottle warmer. So that&rsquo;s something to note if you have a warmer of the same type. The glass was also pretty hot after pulling it out of the warmer, so be careful when your half asleep at night warming things up. The cap is also hard to take off with one hand if you ever need to try and do it that way. They only have a few parts that are very easy to clean and assemble. Also, since there are just three components there aren't really any &quot;tough to reach&quot; places when washing them. My babe likes how wide the nipple is. I think because she is primarily breast fed, and it is most similar to that experience. I also noticed that the nipples are very soft and flexible. My absolute favorite thing about these bottles is that they are glass! They have a nice weight to them and I feel good about reducing my plastic use. I am picky when it comes to what I use for my kids. Heating or adding hot liquid to plastic is a hard no for me. When I found out that Avent Naturals had a glass bottle option, I was so happy. They are incredibly easy to clean and do not require a soak like a lot of other bottles I have tried. I love that with the travel cap they&rsquo;re only four pieces. If you&rsquo;ve ever cleaned bottles, you know that you don&rsquo;t want to clean more than four pieces! We have actually been using these glass bottles since baby was born seven months ago, but we&rsquo;re given the opportunity to receive more and review them through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I am so impressed with these, I wish I&rsquo;d tried glass bottles sooner. I received these as part of the Stellar Product Testing panel, and when I unpacked them I could tell the glass was super high quality and thick and would not be easily broken. The drawback is that they are heavy, and my son, who is just starting to &ldquo;assist&rdquo; with his own feeding, won&rsquo;t be able to hold these himself. But the wife nipples are great, and he takes these more quickly than the nipples he&rsquo;s been using since birth. He finishes this bottle faster and therefore is less fussy than with the previous bottles. These are super easy to disassemble and reassemble, and the ridges on the nipple bases are wide, so I don&rsquo;t worry that there&rsquo;s gunk stuck in there after washing. The lids fit snugly but are super easy to get off, which is not my experience with other brands. And the glass is thick so I don&rsquo;t worry at all about throwing a bottle into my bag when we&rsquo;re on the go. We have always had luck with Philips Avent bottles but once we switched to glass I will never go bad. The glass washes beautifully and the various sized nipples are top notch. My daughter is able to comfortably pause feedings without drips or spills and the slight changes in flow make the transition to larger feedings seamless. I love that there is a glass option, as we are trying to cut back on use of plastics. The bottles are very easy to clean and hold a substantial amount of milk. The only real downside is the weight. My son has trouble holding the glass bottles on his own because they are a bit heavy for him. The bottles are great if the person nursing plans on holding it for the child, but if you want to encourage self feeding, they may prove to be challenging. I think the wide shape of the nipple really helped him get a good latch. The glass bottles are really easy to put together and clean because they are not too narrow and it was easy getting the milk film off of the glass. For an 8 oz. bottle, this bottle is a lot taller and bigger than the other ones I have used in the past. The glass is really good quality but it is heavy. I use this bottle at home but I would not use it to pack inside my diaper bag because of how heavy it can get. I know they're super durable and resistant to breaking, so I can put them in the fridge and heat them in the bottle warmer and know they're not going to break. We primarily breastfeed, but my son does take a bottle every once in a while and the wide, soft anti-drip nipple was easy for him to take. I like them because they're easy to use and the anti-colic valve keeps him from swallowing air. It's important to me that they are BPA free. I highly recommend these to anyone who bottle feeds, either part-time or full-time. I love this glass option as a healthier alternative for my child! I already own the 4oz glass Phillips Avent bottle so I was excited to try the 8oz as well! The larger size is nice in that you won't need to refill it as often. However I still prefer the 4oz for the age of my baby. My baby is 9mo old and the smaller 4oz glass bottle is much easier for him to self feed. The 8oz bottle is harder for him to self feed with. I suppose the 8oz would work very well for an older child to self feed! These glass bottles are very, very good quality and made with sturdy, thick glass! I have accidentally dropped the Phillips Avent glass bottle several times(once even on gravel) and it has never chipped or shattered! Very well made! We use them for a formula fed baby and even though the bottles are a maximum 8 ounces, there&rsquo;s still room to fill it up with 8 ounces of water and four scoops of formula and shake it up without leakage. Other bottles that are 8 ounces I typically have to mix outside of the bottle and then transfer to the bottle, which just creates more work. My baby had such an easy time using these bottles. He had no problem switching to them and especially as a glass bottle, they were really easy to hold while also sturdy (sturdy enough that I wasn&rsquo;t concerned about my toddler putting them in the sink for us after baby was done eating). My baby is not holding his own bottles yet, but I am confident that he will find them easy to hold as well. The only thing I wish they came with were stoppers that go between the nipple and the rest of the bottle so that when I shake the formula the dry formula does not get into the nipple. The glass is made in the USA which is amazing and you won't have to worry about plastic leaching into your babies precious milk. The natural response nipple is shaped like the breast and feeds baby like they are nursing. I didn't experience any leaking while using these bottles. My baby adapted quite easily and we've had no issues thus far. They are a great size and are easy to heat when needed. The anti colic feature is nice if your baby has issues with that. Easy to assemble, durable, and breast shaped nipple are all important perks that ensure my baby switches easily back and forth from bottle to breast. Most important to me is to use a glass bottle so I&rsquo;m happy that that is offered. Unfortunately I also happen to be a bit clumsy and I also have toddlers who like to help so I was worried when this didn&rsquo;t come with a sleeve of some sort. Having said that, this is a resilient bottle. It has taken a tumble a couple of times, but doesn&rsquo;t have even a scratch. It has a clean, classy design and I haven&rsquo;t experienced any lid malfunctions or leaks. There are very few components to this bottle and no hard to reach places, making cleaning, assembling and storing a breeze. I love that the travel lid has air holes in it to keep it dry, as well as a finger grip. Baby has absolutely no complaints about this bottle nipple. She took it easily and hasn&rsquo;t had any problems, such as gassiness or tummy trouble. I noticed when I tip the bottle to check the temperature, it doesn&rsquo;t drip out like I&rsquo;m used to, I find that I have to squeeze it out. I like this because I&rsquo;m confident baby isn&rsquo;t being overwhelmed by the flow. There are of course nipples for different stages so flow can easily be adjusted for baby&rsquo;s needs. Overall baby and I are very pleased with this bottle and we will continue to use it throughout our bottle feeding journey.
