Philips Avent Natural 4 Ounce Bottle is the most natural way to bottle feed. The wide breast-shaped nipple on the Natural bottle promotes natural latch-on so you can easily combine breastfeeding and bottle feeding. The ultra soft nipple mimics the feel of the breast. Our flexible spiral design combined with the comfort petals allow for a natural movement while baby feeds. The bottles have unique Airflex vent technology integrated into the nipple and are designed to reduce colic and discomfort by venting air away from your baby's tummy. The ergonomic shape makes it comfortable for parents to hold and easy for small fingers to grasp. Assembly is simple with only a few parts and the wide bottle neck makes filling and cleaning easy. The Natural bottle is made from polypropylene, a BPA free material, and works with all nipples and caps from the Natural line. SCF010/17

Finally a bottle my baby likes!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I exclusively breastfed my first son until he was 6 months old, at which time we supplemented with formula due to a milk protein allergy. We used all different brands of bottles for him and he easily took to any of them. When my second son was born, my husband and I decided to attempt to exclusively breastfeed for his whole first year. I thought this would be a cinch because I expected him to take to all different kinds of bottles just like his brother. My son is now 3.5 months old and has refused all bottles and pacifiers from day one. This has made me one cranky mom because I have been unable to rely on my husband or anyone else to feed my son bottled breastmilk. I was beginning to think that I would never find a bottle my son would be willing to drink from and was tired of spending money on bottles that he rejected. The WeeSpring Parent Panel sent me Philips Avent Natural bottles and nipples to try and I was willing and eager to not only try them, but give my honest feedback about them. The bottles were easy to take apart and clean. The different nipple sizes are clearly marked with the size and easy to see when quickly grabbing for them. The nipples click into the ring and do not leak when being used. The shape of the bottle is perfect for holding while balancing the baby and I anticipate will be easy for my son to hold once he is old enough to hold it himself. But perhaps the best thing about these bottles is that my son actually drank from the bottles! These are the first bottles that he has not rejected. The nipples did not collapse as he was drinking like some other brands of bottles. He did not seems to have any more burping than he does with breastfeeding, which is amazing and means the anti-colic vent works fabulously. The cost of these bottles is comparable to other brands and is well worth it for the quality that you receive. I would highly recommend trying Avent bottles for the cost, quality, and ease of use for my picky little eater!

Loved this bottle!
At first I was a little confused by the look of this bottle, especially since I'm used to using another brand of bottle, but the Phillips Avent Natural Baby Bottle was great. It's so easy to put together, the anti-colic vent is in the nipple which means there aren't any extra parts you need to assemble (or wash!!) and my baby took to it immediately.
The shape of the bottle was also great. It fit in my hand very easily and was very comfortable.
Overall, we loved the bottle. We received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel but we will be purchasing more!

My breastfed baby gets excited when she sees this bottle!
First time mum here which means we did lots of research and tried lots of things to get our daughter to take a bottle. I exclusively breastfeed my little one and introduced a bottle of expressed milk around 3 months so that I could get some extra sleep in the mornings. We tried a few other types of bottles and she really liked the Philips nipples. I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel but I did already own the natural glass bottle range from Philips as well. I love that the nipples are interchangeable and you can get different nipples to try different flows. The nipples are affordable as well which helps. The bottles are super easy to clean, no tiny little parts that get lost and they are durable. They haven't given our daughter any extra gas and now when she sees the bottle she gets crazy excited and loves to hold it while being fed. I'm happy to keep using these for my daughter and have even bought the sippy cup which is interchangeable with the range. I love that I can keep using these with a different top when she's older and not need to buy a whole new set of bottles!

Great Bottle for the bottle-adverse baby
I received the Philips Avent Natural bottle as part of the WeeSpring Parent Panel. My 3 month old baby has had difficulty taking a bottle from the beginning. This bottle and nipple feels and looks more breast-like and my baby actually took it. The bottle is comfortable to hold. My only concern is that when you put the bottle together, if you don't pull the nipple in place tightly there can be some leakage. Since my baby hasn't taken many other bottles it's hard to say how effective the colic features were on this bottle.

I love the natural baby bottle, I just weaned my three month old a few weeks ago and he had no problem transitioning to the bottle. I like the ergonomic shape and wide mouth nipple, seems very natural for baby. Very easy to assemble and clean! Excellent for Using Alongside the Breast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These bottles have worked really well for my family. My baby was born four weeks early and so had trouble feeding. He couldn't suck well enough at the breast to get the calories he needed. I still wanted to give him breastmilk, but needed to bottle-feed pumped milk at the begining. We started with using a different bottle, but switched to these because of their wide nipple shape that mimics the breast. My baby liked them just fine, and easily took the bottle. We loved that they only had three parts and were much easier to clean than the narrow-necked bottle with many parts we first tried. They were easy to hold while feeding. The only slight drawback to the size and shape was that is was difficult to carry more than one in a hand when collecting them from around the house. The anti-colic valves seem to work for us because my baby didn't spit up very much. We did occasionally have some nipple collapse. It seemed to be when the top was tightened too much and was easily fixed. I like that the caps actually press on the nipple to prevent leaking. The drawback to the caps is that they are hard to get off with wet hands and pretty much impossible to remove from the top if it isn't screwed onto the bottom. All in all, these were great and my baby was able to smoothly transition back to the breast when he got stronger. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of these bottles as a part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. These bottles are amazing! The design makes them easy to warm in the bottle warmer and easy to hold. My baby even helps hold them! The anti colic design eliminates her gas and the shape and flow of the nipple help her switch back and forth between bottle and breast. A great solid choice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son is almost six months old and has always been breastfed. While the anti-colic vent was simple enough to use, I can’t say whether or not the bottle can relieve colic or gas because we (luckily) have never really dealt with that problem, especially not now that he is a little bit older. It was pretty simple to get him to take the bottle, it was filled with breast milk and I (Mama) had to leave the room while his Papa gave him the bottle. If I was in the room, he would throw a fit because he knew where the “real thing” was. Once he got a taste, he took very well to the nipple and bottle. The bottle and anti-colic vent were very easy to assemble and worked well for us the first time, every time. My son seemed to enjoy the ergonomic shape of the bottle since he insisted on holding the bottle all by himself every time. Overall, we really like the bottle and recommend it, but we used it with the philips avent natural variflow nipple because the included nipple was too slow flow for us. I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel.

There's no going back to trendy bottles!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When my daughter was born a few months ago, I was determined to breastfeed for as long as I could. As we all know, things don't always go the way we wanted and had to start using a bottle now and then. After a few weeks, I began to realize she was less and less interested in nursing and preferred the bottle, but of course, I wanted to use the trendy Instagram brands.
I received this bottle from the weeSpring Parent Panel and noticed it "features an innovative petal design for natural latch... making it easy to combine breast and bottle feeding." My first thought was, "Ok. Every brand out there says the same thing" but went ahead and gave it a try.
At first, my daughter (4 months) didn't seem to take the bottle quickly, but the more she used it, the more she got the hang of it, and there's no going back! Trust me; I tried to use an old bottle when this one was dirty, and she hated it! There I go in a rush to quickly and easily wash the Natural Avent bottle. One of my favorite things is the easy assembly. Three pieces plus the lid (we don't use lids around the house) and done. A clean and assembled bottle in no time. The nipple also has a number on it which is easy to see. My daughter preferred the number one nipple (newborn and breastfed babies) over the faster flows. We have no issues with colic and have had no trouble going back and forth from breast to bottle and back.
The design of the bottle itself also makes it easy and comfortable to hold during feedings. Oh! BIG Bonus! It fits in my diaper bag bottle pockets!! No struggle to put it in or take out.
The only thing that bugs me is the fl oz marker. There is a UK fl oz and a US fl oz marker, and it can get a bit confusing since they're right next to each other and one is more than the other.
Overall, I'm delighted with this bottle! Thank you weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with such a great product.

Great bottle - parents love it but baby set in his ways needs a bit more convincing
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this bottle through the weeSpring Parent Panel and were very excited to try it!
I loved that all parts are dishwasher safe, making it easier for our busy family to quickly get it all cleaned. Assembly was easy and leaking was minimal.
We tried the bottle with our 3-month-old son. We loved the ergonomic design as parents having to hold it for him and could see him being able to get a good hold on it when he is older. I really liked the idea of a more natural nipple since he does both bottle and breastfeed. Unfortunately, he personally was not a fan of the wide mouth nipple, likely only because he is used to others. I would have loved to try this bottle at an earlier age as I feel the latch could be better with this design. Thankfully he’s a good eater and didn’t have an issue with more standard nipple types.
But - we did notice that he didn’t seem to suck as much air with this product, as advertised! His burps were good but not as giant as usual but did seem to have less spit up which is a huge plus. For this reason we will continue to try and use this bottle in our rotation to see if he likes it more as he uses it more frequently.

Easy to use and clean
I am a first time mom who has a 3-month-old baby. She is a breastfed baby. We have had limited used with bottles and nipples. She occasionally gets a bottle with breast milk in it when I am at work. She has been a pretty easy baby with no issues with colic or gas. My baby had no issues taking this bottle. It was comfortable to hold. I like the hourglass shape. The printed numbers on the side of the bottle are easy to read. I do wish that the numbers were embossed on the plastic. I don’t know how long the printed numbers will stay with many washings. I also liked that there were not that many pieces to assemble. Just the nipple, bottle, and ring. The nipple was easy to put on the ring but had a nice secure tight fit. When you pulled the nipple on to the ring, you could tell right away that it was in right. The vent on the nipple seemed to work very well for my baby. My baby did not have any gas after eating from this bottle and nipple. Over all, I really liked this bottle and so did my baby. The Natural bottles are simple to assemble! I like that there are only 4 parts and nothing is too difficult or annoying to clean, like I’ve heard about other brands.

finally a winner for our breastfed baby!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a first-time mama to a 4 month-old baby girl - so everything is new to us, of course! One thing I never expected to worry about was finding a bottle! I figured we would just pick a brand and go with it. I am exclusively breastfeeding, but I also planned to pump and have an extra supply so my husband could help with feedings. The first time my husband tried to give her a bottle, she wouldn't take it! I think he was more upset than she was, though ;). So, reluctantly we began the search for a bottle that would work. At the time I to received this product, I had about 5 different brands of bottle in my cupboard and one that she sometimes would take.
Thankfully, I was given this product to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel, and I think we finally have a winner!! She was hesitant at first, but after a couple seconds she got the hang of it. She doesn't just play around with the nipples instead of eating - which is what she was doing with most of the others. I think the wide shape and nipple design help to make it seem more like the real thing, so she likes this one and takes it easier than a couple of the other brands I've tried.
The bottles are extremely easy to assemble, use, and clean. The ergonomic shape is helpful, too. It doesn't impact me much because I'm not using them constantly, but I can see how that would be a benefit. I really liked the texture of the nipples, and the "petal" design seems to help it keep its shape. We've thankfully not had issues with colic, so I can't weigh-in on the anti-colic vent, but it does look like it would function appropriately.
Overall, I know all babies are different, but I'd say these bottles are worth testing out first - especially if your baby is primarily breastfed.

Great to relieve gas
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have always loved the Philips Avent brand. So when looking for new bottles for baby boy, I could only think of one to make this bottle journey great. Luckily, I received this product from the weeSPring Parent Panel and have loved it. The bottles are a good shape so it won't tire my or my husbands hands when we feed our little boy. They are light weight and so easy to clean. This was a big part for choosing this brand. When you have toddler twins and an infant, the less time I spend dismantling and washing bottles the better. The anti-colic vent is nice to have. This little guy has a problem with gas and having a bottle that allows for less gas is a wonderful thing to have...for ALL of us.

My bottle search is over (despite a few design flaws)
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been trying lots of bottles with my twin boys, and wanted something that didn't make them gassy and didn't have a ton of parts to clean (since we have twice as many bottles to use and clean!) I tried many popular, name brand bottles and while one of my boys took almost everything we tried, my other one was much pickier and seemed to get gassy and fussy after most bottle feedings. I received this product as part of the wee spring parent panel and am so grateful as it is now our favorite bottle and nipple to use for both of my twins.
Pros: the bottle has minimal parts - only 4 (including the cap) which makes it easy to clean and assemble quickly - super important for twins! The natural nipple seems to mimic breastfeeding which is important to me as an exclusively breastfeeding mom. I want (and need!) my babies to take bottles, but don't want them to refuse the breast in favor of a bottle. This nipple seems to do the trick, and the anti-colic valve seems to really work since neither of my boys seem to have issues after eating. The shape is easy for us to hold while feeding and I like that the wider nipple is more similar to mom's.
Cons: the small, 4 oz bottle is easy to hold for feedings, but is pretty short and stubby - making it hard to get out of our bottle warmer without pulling it out by the nipple. The bottle parts also get very warm when in the warmer - the milk doesn't - just the bottle parts. The thing that I really dislike about the bottle, however, is the cap. It is SO HARD to get off of the bottle. There is a really strong seal / suction, which is a good thing so as not to leak, but I hate pulling the lid off and struggle each time. There is one indent on the cap that I imagine is supposed to help, but maybe two would be better to allow leverage to take off the cap. This is a big design flaw, in my opinion, since struggling to open a bottle shouldn't be the thing that gets in between a hungry, crying baby and their meal.
Overall, I am really happy with the natural flow nipple on the bottle and will be purchasing more of the larger size bottle for my boys to use when they start daycare. And while there are a few design flaws that could make the bottles easier and more pleasant for parents to use, the most important part is that the bottle anti-colic nipple work well without lots of extra parts to clean.

Best Bottle for Both Parents and Child
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this bottle from the weeSpring Parent Panel, but I have currently been using this bottle since my first son, born in August of 2016 and my other son, born in October of 2017. So I was glad to receive and extra set, basically.
Both my sons were gassy and I was desperate to try anything to help alleviate their pain, but also ease my nerves of having a very upset baby. I tried several bottles, ones with several pieces and some with less, but the nipples would collapse. So I wanted to find something that would help not only my baby, but selfishly help me on ease of cleaning up and not having to retract a nipple in the middle of a very hungry baby during a feeding.
This bottle was my lifesaver. Both my sons took to this bottle with such ease. The nipples resemble how a breast shape is and fortunately helped with their gas. While I feel that other “anti-colic” bottles helped with the gas, this did the same, but also helps parents too. Come on, we need help!
The bottle is easy to hold to feed your baby. These bottles are so simple to assemble and clean. The wide neck makes for such ease on cleaning with the bottle brush. You don’t get that splash in the face like you do with skinny bottles and a bottle brush (come on parents, you know what I’m talking about haha). You must try this bottle parents! It’s a win for you and the baby! I cannot tell you how many mamas I have recommended these too!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle has become a house favorite. Our little girl took to this bottle with no problem. The great wide nipple mimics the breast and made it easy for her to latch on. These bottles come with 3 pieces plus a cap which makes using them so easy especially during those late night feeds when your still asleep. Also, the 3 pieces make cleaning a breeze! They come with an anti-colic vent and we had absolutely no issues with colic/gas while using them. The shape of the bottles have a comfortable curve as well. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this bottle, we'll be continuing to use this bottle!

Wider is Sometimes Better
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle's unique ergonomic shape makes it excecptionally easy to clean. As a new mom, with a full time job, this is something that is extremely important to me. The last thing I want to spend time doing, at the end of my day, is washing a bottle and its many pieces. The shape, also makes the bottle very easy to hold. The 4 and 9 oz sizes are great as well. The bottle is also very easy to assemble. Making it perfect for those times that your little one is hungry and you're in a hurry. My daughter had no trouble taking to this bottle. Although as long as she is being fed, she doesn't seem to care about where or what it is coming from! I do feel as though, she is able to take the milk a lot faster with this bottle. As a mother who is breastfeeding, this is something that tends to worry me. I want her to have to work hard when she is drinking from a bottle, so she will remain willing to breastfeed. I don't want her to prefer a bottle, because it is easier for her. We have had no issues with colic after the many feedings we have had with the bottle. I was very happy to receive the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle from the weeSpring Parent Panel. It was a bottle I have been interested in trying for some time.

Nipple was so soft and my daughter thought it was mine and latched On like nothing. I have tried many bottles and they always made her gassy and this one does not at all. She pulls no air while sucking and nipple does not have a heavy flow. I totally recommend this to any new parent who’s looking for a bottle to do transition from breast to bottle! It's a natural fit!
I'm not new to the baby rodeo – this is my third girl, and I've learned each kid has their own preferences for sure. However it's been five years since my second baby, and after having gotten rid of all our bottles, I was curious to see what had changed. Across the board, bottles are so much easier (and better looking) than before. Most now seem to have fewer parts, like the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle we got from the WeeSpring Parent Panel. I love that simplicity of three pieces and would now consider that a tablestake for any bottle I bought. However, of the four brands we tried, I discovered that it was the shape of the Philips that I like most. Simply put, it feels better when feeding it to my little one, and the curve keeps it from slipping out of my hand. She took naturally to the Philips bottle (and not to all the others). Because of the shape, I could more easily hold her in different positions to find how she would most easily accept the bottle, since she's usually breastfed. It's hard to determine why and how the right combination of bottle + nipple + flow works, but this did from the get go. I'm a BIG fan!

Favorite bottle ever!!
I was given the Phillips Avent Natural Baby Bottle to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and I couldn’t have been happier. The evening I got my Avent bottles in the mail, my baby was eating from his typical bottles (non-Avent brand) and was crying/so fussy- I decided to try the new bottles I had just received and it was amazing the difference. He immediately stopped crying and was drinking without spitting up (something he did constantly with his old bottles). It must have been a combination of the anti-colic vent, super slow flow nipples and the convenient squatty bottle design for bottle propping (I know.. not supposed to.. but sometimes a mama gets desperate). As a testament to how much my husband and I love the Avent bottles, I still pump into the old bottles then transfer the milk to the Avent bottles to feed the baby- double the cleaning but so worth it because we are in love with our new bottles and so is baby! The bottles are so easy to clean and I love that the nipples come in different flow rates so we can keep the same bottles but change out the nipples as baby grows. Love them!

Bottle-feeding is possible - at last!
My four month-old daughter is our third child, and she and I have really bonded (more than I did with my older two boys, I think) through a lot of baby-wearing; a relatively stress-free, three-month maternity leave; and very successful breastfeeding. So when the first time came for a date night with my husband about a month in (woo hoo!) I was a little bit nervous about separating from her -- but I didn't consider issues of her taking a bottle. Both of my boys (also exclusively breastfed) would take a bottle of breast milk with very little fuss, and never had trouble transitioning back and forth to the breast, so I just didn't think about it... until I got the anxious call from our nanny: she was trying everything but to no avail -- the baby just wasn't having it. Needless to say, we ended our first date night early and arrived home to quite the scene (oh, the wailing!). Since then we've tried multiple times to go on longer dates, but it's always the same story from our care-givers: she pushes the bottle away, she refuses to try, she spits it out, she wails and wails and wails... so stressful! Then I unexpectedly learned that I have to travel for work in less than a month's time, and will be gone for nearly four days -- and of course I panic. How will she manage if she won't take a bottle?? Well, miraculously the very next day I got a notification that I was set to receive a product trial of the new Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle at no cost, as a member of the weeSpring Parent Panel! I crossed my fingers waiting for it to arrive -- I had already tried a dozen other options in my home bottle repertoire, acquired over years with the first two babies, but no dice. And... bingo! Like magic, this one did the trick! The bottle is wider and squatter than others I've seen, and I immediately "got it" -- the ergonomic shape is easier for baby to manage! The bottle design is very intuitive and easy to assemble; no leaks, no trouble with connections. She immediately gravitated toward the design and miraculously drank the milk on the very first try! The anti-colic vent seems to work really well too; she didn't suffer any after effects like excessive spit-up, burps, or tummy discomfort. I could not be happier (and neither could my nanny!) -- and my worries about travel in a couple of weeks are now (mostly, haha) gone. Baby girl is going to be just fine :)

Great bottle option for breastfed babies
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My little one has been exclusively breast fed since birth, with only the occasional need for a bottle if I had plans that would keep me away from him for more than a couple of hours. In the beginning, we struggled to find a bottle that he really seemed to like. Some of them he would flat out refuse and others seemed to just let the milk run out of his mouth as he was trying to drink. Any pumping mama will tell you that is not something you want to see! As he approached 6 months, I wanted the flexibility of offering (or having someone else offer) him a bottle a little more frequently, meaning we really needed to find a bottle that he would take. I was cautiously optimistic about the Philips Avent Natural bottle...optimistic because the wide nipple base more closely resembled a breast than some other bottles we had tried, and cautious because we had been down this path before. We decided to have my husband be the one to offer him the bottle the first time, and it turned out to be a total success! Our little guy happily guzzled down almost 4 ounces with no problem. Cue the happy dance! We think the wide base of the nipple had a lot to do with him accepting it so easily...you could see his lips flanged out around the top and bottom of the nipple the same way that they do at the breast, and I think the flexible nipple tip probably felt a lot more familiar to him as well. We had previously tried a different brand of bottle marketed as being designed to mimic the breast, but struggled with the nipple collapsing as the baby would suck. Very happy to report that we did not have that issue with the Philips Avent Natural bottles! While we've been lucky to not experience much colic with our son, we are always careful to stop and try to burp him pretty frequently to try and avoid any trapped gas. We've noticed while feeding with these bottles that he very rarely burps during or after his feed, leading us to believe that the anti-colic valves must be doing a good job of keeping any air from getting into his belly. Obviously the most important factor when choosing a bottle is how your baby likes and reacts to it, but I think it is definitely worth mentioning that both my husband and I love how comfortable these bottles are to hold, and also how easy they are to clean and assemble! The last thing you want to do when you have a hungry baby is worry about getting multiple pieces of a bottle assembled correctly while you're hurrying to get them fed, and parents have enough to do without worrying about washing tons of bottle parts after each feeding. I am so thankful to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending us this bottle to try and review, and I would absolutely recommend these bottles, especially for parents that do a combination of breast and bottle feeding!
