Great product that helps reduce discomfort for your little one
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle and Philips Avent Natural First Flow Nipple to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. As a mother of three I am constantly looking for the best, reliable, durable and safest products for myself and children. In my household we have a 4year old, 3year old and now almost 3 month old. I started off breastfeeding my son and needed to transition him into taking a bottle while I was at work. Surprisingly, he took the bottle like a champ (unlike my two oldest children who suffered from acid reflux). We tried two different nipple sizes that were both easy to latch onto; newborn and the slow flow nipple. The slow flow nipple allowed him to drink his milk at a controllable pace that satisfied him without causing stomach issues. After testing each nipple size, he was more comfortable with the pace of the slow flow nipple. Having two children who suffered from acid reflux and constantly in discomfort after a feeding it was important to find the right bottle that would help eliminate discomfort. The Philips Avent Natural Baby bottle has an Airflex vent technology that is integrated into the nipple that helps reduce colic and discomfort. My son is becoming very interested in grabbing and holding onto objects including his bottles. The Philip Avent Natural Baby Bottle slight curvy ergonomic shape makes it very easy for his tiny hands to grab/hold. I also find the shape easy and comfortable to hold unlike Dr. Brown's bottles that are straight and narrow. Also, these bottles have a few pieces that make it quick and easy to assemble. I would highly recommended both the Philips Avent Natural Baby Bottle and Philips Avent Natural First Flow Nipple to my friends, family and any current or parent to be. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with these products.

Soft nipple, good flow for newborn!
My newborn son, really liked this nipple and took it very easily. He is breastfed the majority of the time and is bottle fed when I am away at work or sometimes running errands. I think the flow was great, not too fast, just right for him. I think it's great to have a variety of nipples with different flows to see which is easiest for my son to use and to adjust as he's needs change. This nipple is also very soft and flexible and I love that it helps prevent a gassy colicky baby! It is very easy to clean.Thank you to weeSpring Parent Panel for sending me this nipple to try and review.

Slow Flow works perfect for newborn
I am nursing a newborn and returning for work soon. I wanted to try the avent bottles to see how my baby would take to them before returning to work. First of all, it was super helpful to have different nipple choices to choose from. The 0mo+ nipples have a slow enough flow that my 7week old does not choke when trying to drink. I have also noticed that he is not sucking in as much air, so this helps with gas and burping. My baby took to this nipple size very well. As he grows, he will probably prefer a faster flow and we will try the next size up.

Great nipples for babies used to breast
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Phillips Avent Natural Nipples were wonderful for my baby who is used to mostly breastfeeding. I received these nipples as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel and was so excited to see how my little boy likes them. He is mostly Breastfed but will take a bottle when he needs to be left with dad or his grandparents. The Avent Natural Nipple has a unique design that makes it feel soft like a breast and my baby had no problem attaching to them. He preferred the size 1 nipples that have a pretty slow flow but still allow him to get enough milk that he doesn’t get frustrated while sucking. The fact that this nipple has multiple sizes is great for when our little one wants to get more milk with each gulp as he begins to grow bigger and consume more ounces at once. I think one of the most unique parts of the Phillips Avent Natural Nipples is the Air Avent to help relieve babies gas. Our little boy has some gas pains that will wake him up when he is very uncomfortable. We tried a night of bottles with expressed milk to see if these helped relieve some of his gas pains. We were pleasantly surprised when he slept 2 hours longer than usual and much more peacefully than when he has had a night with other bottles. This product is wonderful for babies who have gas or who are used to breastfeeding but need to take bottles sometimes. I would highly recommend these to new moms or moms struggling to get their babies to latch onto a bottle.

Soft & Flexible, Perfect for Picky Feeders
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Breastfeeding my baby was well established after a few weeks, even with the introduction of the artificial nipple just a few days after she was born for supplemental feeding. We had been using another brand of bottle and nipple, but tried the Philips Avent Natural First Flow Nipple. It took some coaxing, but my daughter takes to it just as well as the nipples she is more familiar with. The nipples are soft and flexible, and wider to more resemble a natural breast shape. The nipples are high-quality and took well to repeated sanitizing, cleaning, and assembling. My daughter has never had an issue with colic or gas, and so I'm not sure if I would have noticed the nipple having a positive influence on those problems. She does seem to have a preference for the first introduced bottle and nipple, but after some coaxing, she will take to the Avent First Flow Nipples. These seem to be a good speed of flow for her. Thank you to weeSpring for sending the Phillips Avent First Flow Nipples for us to try!

Great bottle for a breastfed baby
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This bottle is an attractive shape and style. The plastic is sturdy and all the pieces fit together nicely. It is also easy to take apart and wash. The nipple is an excellent replication of a mother's breast. It is very soft and an accurate shape and size (although I realize this varies from woman to woman). My three month old had never taken a bottle before and was able to latch right on. He did not appear to have any more or less gas or spit up following the bottle. The flow rate also felt appropriate.

Great nipple
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] You hear all these stories about babies having colic problems and being very fussy for the first 6 months which can be scary. Yet I find the anti-colic on Philips Avent Natural nipple truly works as my little one has not had any problems from day one of use. After we got home from the hospital my baby became dehydrated. The doctor wanted me to switch to formula because they believed I didn't have milk. I was not prepared for this so instead, I pumped and fed my baby breastmilk. I wasn't sure how my little one would take to Philips Avent Natural nipple but she latched on quickly thanks to the natural nipple shape. I was also concerned my little one would refuse to be nursed later on as it is easier for her to eat from the bottle. Once I was ready to breastfeed again my little one did not have a hard time transitioning from the bottle to my breast since the flow mimics the breast flow. Thanks to this my significant other was able to bottle feed her at night and I nursed her during the day. A great way to get some rest! All in all, I love the Philips Avent Natural nipple and highly recommend it for bottle feeding your baby. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this product.

First Flow Nipple - A must have for your breastfed baby
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When we first tried to give our BF baby a bottle he couldn't get the hang of it. He kept gagging and spitting it out. No worry about "nipple confusion" with premie
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My baby was born four weeks early and so had trouble feeding. He couldn't suck well enough at the breast to get the calories he needed. I still wanted to give him breastmilk, but needed to bottle-feed pumped milk at the begining. It was very important to me that giving him a bottle did not allow him to get lazy because I wanted him to return to the breast when he was stronger. I loved that the First Flow Nipple was suitable for my premie and meant he would have to work at eating. I didn't want the flow to be too easy because I worried he might then find the breast frustrating. The anti-colic valves seem to work for us because my baby didn't spit up very much. We did occasionally have some nipple collapse. It seemed to be when the top was tightened too much and was easily fixed. All in all, these were great and my baby was able to smoothly transition back to the breast when he got stronger. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This nipple did really well with my 3 mo baby. She didn't show any preference with the flow but it's the first time she has actually taken a bottle right away. I'm sure it's nice to have different flow rates for those that are a get it done type of eaters but mine likes to take her time and enjoy it (also known as a slow eater).
It didn't really relieve colic or gas so that was a bit disappointing but overall a win because a happy eater equals a happy home.
Overall I recommend this nipple as well as the bottle.

Great bottle nipple for breastfed babies
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It is essential to have different flow nipples to get longevity out of a feeding system. So this first flow nipple is a great place to start. Based on his age, my son preferred the number 2 flow nipple. He is not prone to colic but seemed to have typical gas eating with this nipple. He did take to it fine but in general he is a very easy eater thankfully. Occasionally the nipple would get stuck down inside the bottle but it was not hard to correct.
I think this bottle nipple and the system overall is well made and a great option for breastfed babies to transition easily between bottle and breast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from the weeSpring Parent Panel. When first receiving this product I was looking forward to a different kind of touch and feel for my son’s eating since I have been supplementing with formula. Being a first time mom, I thought it would be helpful to have a variety of nipples for feeding. It took a while for him to get used to the different nipple but seemed to enjoy it once he got the hang of it. I was disappointed with the flow as he was able to consume 5 ounces in less than ten minutes during midnight feedings even at an inclined position. It would not happen every time but more often than I liked. My husband all but essentially refused to use them and anytime he would try to use them with our son he claimed he would choke on the flow as it was too fast. Philips Avent has Stepped their Game up!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received these nipples from the weeSpring Parent Panel, but I have used a different design of this nipple before, since my first son, born in August of 2016 and my other son, born in October of 2017. So I was glad to receive and try their new design.
I can definitely say that Philips Avent has stepped their game up. I was able to try this new design with my second son. The nipple still resembles a breast and is now softer. My son loved this!! Both my sons were gassy and I was desperate to try anything to help alleviate their pain, but also ease my nerves of having a very upset baby. This new design still helped my gassy baby, phew!! He takes to both of their designs of nipples, but he definitely takes to this one better. I can’t wait to buy some more.
I definitely think Philips Avent should keep both designs in case the baby has a preference on texture. The softer newer ones are the bomb though!

Great to relieve gas
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before I had kids I had always said that I would breastfeed 100%... Oh, the mentality of someone that just doesn't know. After having twin micro-preemies (26 weeks and under), and not ever breastfeeding but strictly pumping, I knew that I would want to make my life easier and less frantic by making sure I had bottles, nipples, formula to make the next go around a lot better. Thanks to the weeSpring Parent Panel for providing me with this amazing product and making my life easier. The Philips Avent Natural Fisst Flow Nipples are so soft and flexible. Of course, nothing compares to the real thing but these made it easier for baby boy to get what he really wanted. I thought that he wouldn't take to them as easily as he did but he surprised me. The best thing about it is that he doesn't get frustrated when I put him on my breast, no nipple confusion for this guy. I also love that it has helped my little man with his gas issues. It is a godsend.

Reliable choice for bottle feeding newborns!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Philips Avent Natural First Flow nipples are a very affordable and reliable choice. My daughter was exclusively breastfed until 10 weeks old, when I returned to work. Due to the stress of my job, my milk supply became almost nonexistent, and we were forced to switch over to formula. I received this product as part from the weeSpring Parent Panel, and the timing could not have been better! Unlike many "slow flow" nipples on the market that make bottle feeding seem like your little one is drinking through a straw, these nipples help pace your baby and aid in preventing them from drinking too fast, as well as venting very well to greatly reduce tummy trouble and gas from swallowing too much air. My daughter did great with these nipples, and in my opinion, they are a great choice when trying navigate the endless selection of bottles and nipples.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My son took to this nipple very easily. He sometimes has issues latching to bottle nipples since he is primarily breast fed but he did not have trouble with these. The only issues we had were when we tried to move to the level 2 and it was too fast for him. I’m sure at some point it won’t be but for now he is nearly 3 months and still on size 1, which is fine.
I received this product thanks to the weeSpring parent panel.

Helps slow down a fast eater
I received this bottle nipple from the weeSpring Parent Panel to test and provide feedback on. I love to have several nipple choices when feeding my newborn. It allows me to figure out which types and flows work best for our child. The Avent newborn slow flow nipple has been an awesome addition to our bottles. It slows down my daughter when she is eating so she doesn't choke or bring in too much air. She is a very fast, very efficient eater, so this nipple forces her to slow down a bit and relax.
Kudos to Avent for a product well made. It is easy to attach to the Avent bottles, easy to clean and I love that it is clear so you can tell if there are any missed milk bits!
In the mornings we use the slow flow nipple and in the afternoons we use the size 1 nipple as our daughter slows down a bit when she is eating later in the day.
Try these, you won't be disappointed.

Bottle-feeding is possible - at last!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My four month-old daughter is our third child, and she and I have really bonded (more than I did with my older two boys, I think) through a lot of baby-wearing; a relatively stress-free, three-month maternity leave; and very successful breastfeeding. So when the first time came for a date night with my husband about a month in (woo hoo!) I was a little bit nervous about separating from her -- but I didn't consider issues of her taking a bottle. Both of my boys (also exclusively breastfed) would take a bottle of breast milk with very little fuss, and never had trouble transitioning back and forth to the breast, so I just didn't think about it... until I got the anxious call from our nanny: she was trying everything but to no avail -- the baby just wasn't having it. Needless to say, we ended our first date night early and arrived home to quite the scene (oh, the wailing!). Since then we've tried multiple times to go on longer dates, but it's always the same story from our care-givers: she pushes the bottle away, she refuses to try, she spits it out, she wails and wails and wails... so stressful! Then I unexpectedly learned that I have to travel for work in less than a month's time, and will be gone for nearly four days -- and of course I panic. How will she manage if she won't take a bottle?? Well, miraculously the very next day I got a notification that I was set to receive a product trial of the new Philips Avent Natural Nipple at no cost, as a member of the weeSpring Parent Panel! I crossed my fingers waiting for it to arrive -- I had already tried a dozen other options in my home bottling repertoire, acquired over years with the first two babies, but no dice. And... bingo, this one did the trick! The nipple is wider and softer than others I’ve seen, and mimics a real breast -- she was actually grabbing onto it for comfort! The design is intuitive and easy to assemble; no leaks, no trouble with connections. She miraculously drank the milk on the very first try! The anti-colic vent seems to work really well too; she didn't suffer any after effects like excessive spit-up, burps, or tummy discomfort. I could not be happier (and neither could my nanny!) -- and my worries about travel in a couple of weeks are now (mostly, haha) gone. Baby girl is going to be just fine :)

Baby Loves It!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Philips Avent Natural First Flow Nipple
I typically breastfeed my baby, but there are times when giving him a bottle of breast milk is more convenient. (i.e. in a checkout line, when he’s with Dad and not me, when grandparents just want the pleasure of feeding him, etc.). Because he doesn’t often get a bottle, it is important that the bottle we use is easy for him take. We have typically used another popular bottle/nipple combo, but thanks to the wee Spring Parent Panel we were able to try the Philips Avent Natural First Flow Nipple. With the old bottle & nipple, it would typically take him a couple minutes to get used to the bottle and really start feeding and then there were always several pauses and “unlatchings” during those feedings. With the Philips Avent Natural First Flow Nipple he immediately latched on and fed continuously until the bottle was empty! It appeared as though the wide (1-1/2” diameter) nipple base of the Philips bottle was soft against his lips and looked more like he was nursing from my breast so I assume it felt more like that as well. With other bottles the nipples are typically only 1” diameter and are surrounded by a hard plastic collar that rubs against baby’s lips or nose, nothing like a real breast!
The only thing I found I had to pay attention to was how the nipple was inserted into the collar that screws onto the bottle. There is a small “vent” at the edge of the nipple and an indentation on the rim of the collar. If these two are aligned when inserted, you can make sure that the “vent” is always at the top of the bottle when baby is feeding and there are zero leaks. It works if the “vent” and indentation are not aligned, but it sometimes leaks a bit if the “vent” is not at the top of the bottle during a feeding.

Great Option for Newborns
My little girl did okay with the first flow nipples. They have a great shape that resembles the breast so there is no nipple confusion and are supposed to help with colic and gas! My daughter was almost 4 months when we received the nipple so I believe that is why she didn't really take to this nipple. I also have a pretty strong let down so my little one just wanted more milk and fast! While using these nipples, we had no issue with colic or gas so I do believe they did help keep the two at bay. I think its great there are different nipple options for parents to feed with and think this would have been great to have when she was younger! I was given this bottle nipple to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.

Good quality nipple but a little too large
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this bottle nipple to try as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel. My baby was already 2 months old when I was given these nipples to try. She has been drinking from a bottle since she was a week old due to me having to supplement with formula. I had completed switch to formula when I started using these nipples. This was a transition from the classic nipple shape to this nipple shape. The nipple was bigger than the classic nipple shape she was used to. My baby was born small at 6 pounds 6 ounces. If she was still a newborn, then I think this nipple may have been too big for her mouth. Even at 2 months with a bigger mouth, she kept spitting it out when I gave it to her the first time. On the second try, she accepted it and was drinking from it with no problem. I don't like that the base of the nipple presses against her nose when I'm feeding her, but it doesn't seem to bother her. The flow is slow for the first flow nipple. It is so slow that I cannot shake a drop from it to test the temperature on my wrist and have to squeeze the nipple to get a drop out. My baby has tried the 0, 0m+, and 1m+ flows. She drinks slower from the slower flow nipples, but doesn't seem to have a preference of flow rate. The silicone is thicker than the nipple I was using and I like that it doesn't collapse when she sucks on it. My baby doesn't really have an issue with colic or gas so I cannot say if it helps. I can say that I notice she burps less with these nipples. Overall I like the quality of these nipples, but the shape does not seem to be the best for my baby.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The new nipples I got from the weeSpring Parent Panel are fantastic. My baby did not show a preference for the new over the old nipples, but I sure did! The new ones are softer, more natural, and act more like the actual breast when baby is drinking. I also noticed that my baby was sucking in a more rhythmic pattern when using the new nipples rather than the old, again, more similar to nursing.
