I'm a mother of 5 & used the Avent natural glass for my (now) 18 month old son while exclusively pumping my breast milk, & am currently using them for my formula fed 5 week old daughter, & they are hands down the best bottles I've ever come across. They have never leaked, magically shattered in my hands, or possessed any sort of "musty odour" as mentioned below. In fact, my toddler regularly dropped them from his highchair onto our slate floors, & they didn't break! They are sturdy, eco-friendly, free of unnecessary chemicals, worth every penny & are of excellent value & quality. I'd enthusiastically recommend these to any parent!</span>

The down side is that it leaks and the nipple just doesn’t stay closed correctly, it pops open and spills milk. This was a 3 pack and every bottle does this. I’m disappointed because I bought these when my baby was born in October and we are just opening them to start using them and now I have to go buy new bottles. Such a waste of money.</span>

I tried to put the nipple perfectly in line with the little hole in the plastic part. I boiled all the nipples . I bought new nipples. Nothing works. These bottles are useless. The worst part is that I noticed the problem after a while when my daughter started eating less and less every day. She lost all interest in eating, was fussing every time I was offering a bottle. She lost weight .</span>

<span itemprop="description">When I first purchased these bottles, I noticed they leaked so I searched online to see if I was doing something wrong. I found that I was assembling them incorrectly and began doing it the right way. That worked for a few weeks but now they are leaking even assembled correctly. It is very frustrating as I feed my son my pumped breastmilk and having it leak out of the bottles is a total waste of something I work hard for. Another thing I noticed is even after disassembling and thoroughly cleaning with hot, soapy water and then sterilizing by boiling and allowing to air dry completely, these bottles still smell musty. I am not sure why this is. I am so disappointed as these are so far the only glass bottles my son will take.</span>

This Philips Avent Natural glass bottle was a god send. She took to it right away. The anti-colic mechanism works well and my daughter doesn’t seem to take in extra air. I highly recommend this bottle for breastfed babies! I received this product free from weeSpring Parent Panel. However, I loved this bottle so much I bought another!</span>

<span itemprop="name">Love these glass bottles</span>
<span itemprop="description">I've always been intimidated by glass bottles, worried they would break, feel heavy and hard to handle. The Philips Avent Natural Glass Baby 4 oz. bottles, which I received from the weeSpring Parent Panel, completely changed my perspective on glass bottles. I love these! They are very durable despite weighing a bit more than the plastic bottles and are comfortable to hold and easy to assemble. Our baby took the bottle, no problem and I think the anti-colic vent really helped her take less air in. She seems to like holding onto them herself, which she couldn't do with a larger bottle. I actually now prefer these bottles to the plastic ones because you can actually tell they are clean, they don't get scratched up and cloudy. I also like that the glass is a more eco-friendly choice and I don't have to worry about the chemicals like in the plastic bottles.</span>

<span itemprop="name">Loved the glass, not the bottle</span>
<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When I first became pregnant I knew right away that I was going to breastfeed. I only wanted to offer my baby the breast and not a bottle for at least the first 4-6 weeks. After my baby girl arrived those plans were much different. Some people tell me know that the best plans are no plans at all.
My milk was taking a while to come in due to a few complications during labor and delivery. After meeting with a lactation consultant she said I should probably think about pumping and bottle feeding her some milk, or worst case giving her a little bit of formula. I knew I was going back to work in 13 weeks so she was going to have a bottle at some point regardless, so might as well start now, because my baby needed to be fed. So, now I am faced with what bottle to use. The selection of bottles on the market is overwhelming. Do I want a long/narrow bottle or a short/wide bottle? A wide mouth nipple or a narrow nipple? A plastic bottle or a glass bottle?
I tried them all! I bought probably 4 or 5 different brands.
I found that my baby liked different bottles for different reasons and I liked different bottles for different reasons.
Baby and I both preferred the bottles that had some kind of vent system that reduced colic and gas. I liked the idea of a glass bottle over a plastic bottle because of eco-friendly reasons. The Dr.Brown’s bottles worked nice but they had so many parts to clean compared to other bottles. It doesn’t seem that I can find the perfect bottle that works for both mommy and baby. So, thanks to weeSpring Parent Panel I was given a new bottle to try, the Philips Avent Natural Glass Baby Bottle. I was excited to try this one because it was glass and I really like the idea of glass bottles. My baby drinks approximately 3-4 bottles while I am at work all day. Daddy gets to try the selection of bottles and has his preferences too. So after one week of daddy feeding and myself we both concluded we were not a big fan of the Avent Natural Glass bottle. The baby would suck on the nipple and make a lot of sucking noises and it was almost as though she couldn’t get a good grip and we didn’t like it because it was too wide. I think she got used to the more narrow nipple from an early age and we got used to the more narrow bottle to hold. We like the bottles that are more work to clean, we have found those are the ones that work best for us because they are narrow to hold in your hand and the nipple is narrow for the baby to latch on to. We are very appreciative of weeSpring Parent Panel for giving us the opportunity to test out another bottle on the market. Now, if we can get a glass, narrow nipple, narrow bottle that reduces colic and gas I think we would have found the perfect bottle.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved how easy this bottle is to assemble and clean, and the fact that it’s glass. We had no problems with breaking, which I did worry about at first. I don’t have a colicky baby, but it did seem to reduce his gas when we used it (our little guy is three months and we only used the small 4 ounce bottle size). I got this bottle as part of the weeSpring Parent Panel.</span>

<span itemprop="description">[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am a lover of the Avent brand and a mom who pumps at work and sends bottles to daycare. So I was so excited to try these glass bottles that I received from the weeSpring parent panel. They are great bottles— easy to clean and convenient for my family. One caveat— check with your daycare to confirm if they will allow glass bottles, as mine does not! However, the nipples are interchangeable with Avwnt plastic bottles, so now my family uses both! I recommend these bottles for anyone concerned about plastics, although I do recognize the concern about glass as well. Either way, I don’t think you can go wrong with Avent products!</span>
