The one year old right now just likes to push the colors and listen to it. The 4 year olds, since they know their colors think they are masters at it. Has a learn mode and a mix color mode, where you push 2 colors and the light turns the color it would make. Also has 3 language modes. The handle on it makes it easy for kids to carry around and it seems pretty sturdy.</span>

The colors are touch-activated and very sensitive, so even the littlest of hands can interact with this toy. The color names are spoken in English, French and Spanish, so it's a simple beginner way to introduce not only color names, but language AND foreign languages in general. Even my four year old got a kick out of poking around on here. I see the brand name Hape on here, and we have had several Hape toys over the years so I am glad to see the collaboration! I feel like these toys are elevated from the way baby Einstein toys used to be- they're modern looking, easily cleanable, and really fun!</span>

I love that you can change the language from English, to Spanish, or French- that is such a cool and educational feature!! My 9 month old loves touching the different colors and watching the lights flash in conjunction with the music. I do think she is still a little too young to understand the "commands" (finding the color red, for example) but I think she will enjoy that as she gets older.</span>

I like that the volume is adjustable and the buttons are easy for my six month old to push. This is a toy that can grow with her. Even though it’s bigger than I expected, my baby is easily able to grab and maneuver it around. There are several ways to interact with it and even three languages you can set it up. The splashes of color are very easy to press so my baby can press an area and see the response on the center button. My older kid likes it too and plays with it in the other mode where the toy asks you to identify the spoken color. Overall it’s well constructed and provides plenty of fun and learning.</span>

Some beads or a paintbrush or something attached to the handle part would have been a nice addition. It also would have been nice if the colors were textured in some way or were press-style buttons instead of touchscreen style buttons. Either of these things would have made it more interesting for kiddos. Overall, a nice toy but I probably wouldn’t purchase on my own.</span>

My 7 month old can easily push the button and loves watching the lights. My 3 year old enjoys tapping all the individual colors and carrying it around by the handle. It’s enjoyed equally by both ages! Learning about combining colors makes it more advanced and unique than a regular color toy. The 3 different languages are a fun aspect, too!</span>

When she doesn’t get the color right it encourages her to try again too. A home run! There is an option to just identify colors and then an option to learn what two colors create when mixed together.</span>
