I received all different brands as baby shower gifts and end up going back to vent aire. It's the most comfortable for the baby and truly does help reduce the amount of air the baby swallows. Never had colic issues with my baby. My baby boy is a big eater and would make this loud sucking sound when we was drinking out of the bottle, like he wasn't getting enough milk out of the nipple. The next flow up would cause the milk to spill out of the corners of his mouth. (He was about 3 months at the time) We tried different brands and nothing worked. Our pediatrician recommended the vent aire wide mouth nipple and it worked like a charm. It was not the best to our experience. Our twins spit and the ventilation did not really help. Our doctor recommended Playtex Ventaire. Hospital staff also said that they tested all nipples and this is the slowest flow. It works great. Reduce colic, but still not a cure.
