I now have a toddler and a newborn and this thermometer comes in handy so well. For anyone who has kids you most definitely need a thermometer in your home because you never know when they get sick. The thermometer is accurate for the most part but twice I had to retake the temperature due to different readings so I would say it isn't always correct and you should check twice each time. It reads well and is really fast once it is placed where you want it to be. He did t like it at first but after a few seconds he relaxed and was able to get an accurate temperature and quickly. This thermometer has a notch on it so you can tell how far it needs to be stuck in I order to get an accurate temperature. That way it's easier to make sure it's not inserted too far. It's been the easier thermometer I've used on my little one.
