I have had it for a few months now, but today the cap for the water fill just started breaking into pieces. Now it won't stay on so I cannot use it. Will be seeing about getting a new cap but will probably end up buying a new machine. I used it while he was sick then it got put up until he got rsv and pneumonia this time around. Not even 2 days into using it this time and the cap breaks.. So this isn't even 6 months old and breaks. Well 2 hours when I went to get my baby from his nap his whole room was filled with thick smoke and the humidifier still running. I very upset about this. I like that, because I find it extremely awkward to fill or carry the tank! It will not sit flat for filling. There's no secure place to hold onto it, and it gets heavy and slippery very quickly. I have had trouble getting the tank to sit properly in the base, too. Also, do NOT run it without properly covering the floor or table it's on!! I have had to mop a significant puddle of dampness every morning.
