It's the perfect size to use in a hotel room, condo, or just in your house - smaller than a pack 'n play but serves the same purpose. The sun shade is a great addition for use outside. <span itemprop="description">This nap and go bassinet is extremely convenient! It unfolds and folds up easily, is light weight and can be moved around the house with ease, and the netting feature is great for outdoor use. I love having it in my living room for my baby to nap while near me. I am very conscious of practicing safe sleeping, and this bassinet meets many of AAP's safe sleeping standards. My only concern is with the rocking feature — since it isn't super safe for the baby to continue rocking while asleep. But, a simple 'locking' of the rocking feature once the baby is asleep solves this issue! Overall, this bassinet is great and I would definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a convenient and safe place for their baby to nap.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Getting this product put together took about 2 minutes and I didn't even need instructions! This is the second bassinet I've received for my LO, the first one he will not sleep in period. This one I laid him down in fully awake and he put himself down for a two hour nap in it. The pad for him to lay on is soft but not too soft where I would be worried about safety. It's very light but sturdy. I love the cover with the net that can be put down. I don't know if he will still be able to use it when it gets warm enough for me to take it outside, but the net keeps big sis from reaching her hands in and waking him up. My LO does not need to be rocked to sleep, so this feature is not too important to us, but would have been a very important feature with our first child. I am excited to use it on our vacation this month, it fold up so small that it will be easy to move from hotels to our families houses so he can nap nap nap!</span>

The mattress pad grows mold inside And under the mattress pad. The fabric on top of the wooden base is attached so it cannot be washed. The wooden base under the mattress pad also grows mold that can not be cleaned. Also as the baby grows and gets heavier it becomes harder to rock.</span>

It was easy to put together (I did this myself in less than 5 minutes), and can be put away and stored quickly in the bag for when you want to take it with you. The cover can easily slide on or off, and the mesh net simply comes down from a hidden zipper compartment when you want it. So far, we've used this daily in the home. If I'm lucky enough to grab a quick shower when she's napping, I can easily pick the bassinet up and put it within sight for peace of mind. We've taken it outside so that the baby can enjoy the nice weather while my older kids are running around in the backyard. Right now, my daughter is 3 weeks old and it seems like there is plenty of room to grow. Plus, the design and colors are beautiful. We travel frequently as a family and this will definitely be coming with us on our next trip! I received this product in exchange for an honest and unbiased review. <span itemprop="description">It was great until I decide to tear it apart and wash it now I can not for the life of me get it put back together and there is no instruction or videos on how to put it back together. I've pinched my fingers multiple times with the folding base board trying to get it put back together. So if your baby is a drooler or spits up a lot like my nephew who I lent it too while they were in town, I do not recommend it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have been using this nice and simple bassinet for the past two months. It's portable and it has a mesh net which is a plus feature to keeps bugs away. I love that it doesn't take up too much space and it's easy for me to move it from one room to another if I need to. My baby doesn't mind sleeping in it and will easily go back to sleep when rocked. The only downside I have with it is that it is lower than my bed. If it was made so that it could be height could be adjusted then I think it would be awesome.</span>

The only con I have is that the mattress is very thin and has a bump in the middle from where it folds, but my baby doesn't act like it bothers her one bit. <span itemprop="description">I loved this bassinet because it is so easy and is a made from quality sturdy materials. It fits in our tiny house, and I just move it around to wherever baby is sleeping at that moment. One day, I took the mattress out to wash it after baby spit up on it and noticed that the sheet, the mattress the cloth liner of the main frame and the wooden/cardboard piece that makes the bottom of the frame all had mold on them. After much bleaching, I got all the visible traces of mold off. A week or 2 later, it is covered with mold again. The cardboard/wood bottom is very hard to clean and get the mold off. It seems like this should be made of plastic so it would be easier to clean. It also seem like the mattress should be water proof so that liquids (ruins, saliva, spit up...what baby doesn't cause these constantly!?) don't run through it and cause moisture under the mattress. If these issues were addressed, I would absolutely love this bed.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This on the go bassinet is great! The travel bag makes toting it in the car to grandmas a breeze. It was easy to assemble, and seems very sturdy. I did mark it down one star because I do wish that it was made in the USA like so many other Saftey 1st products. It would also be nice if it held a baby who weighed more than 20lbs so that we could prolong the use of the bassinet while traveling.</span>

Hello, thank you for your question! We would be happy to provide the dimensions of the mattress, it is approximately 30.5&quot; x 16&quot; with rounded ends. We do not recommend using any aftermarket items in the bassinet such as sheets, comforters, pillows, or mattresses.

Hello, thank you for your question! Per the instructions the mattress, bug net, and removeable lining are hand wash in cool water using only mild detergent and drip dry. This cannot be machine washed or machine dried.
