<span itemprop="description">The lock is easy to install and use. A must- have to keep young children from opening the oven. I had this oven lock for about 5 years before it stopped working. For the low price, It is worth the money, and I just bought a new one to replace it. The old one was difficult to get off. But, then again, if it came off easily it wouldn't be doing its job. I highly recommend this lock.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Been using this for about 3.5 years for multiple kids. It works great and never loses stickyness. Only 2 negatives I've experience: Just replaced it because a small part of plastic (the left end cap if you will) cracked and the lock would no longer stay fully lifted when open. Again, 3.5 years, a lot of use. We have a 5 burner gas stove and have to leave off the middle knob completely or the oven lock can't be on due to overlapping alignment. I don't use that burner often so it isn't a big deal. Eventually the oven won't need the lock anymore</span>

My oven edge isn't totally flat, so the adhesive doesn't fully touch and it stays when cool, but gets pulled off easily when hot. Kinda defeats the purpose.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I bought this lock for my gas oven. Installation was easy and it worked well until I actually used the oven. I think it has something to do with the model oven I have, but the entire unit gets considerably warm when in use. As the lock is held in place by a very strong adhesive, this melted the glue some. For now, the lock still works, but it's only a matter of time before it gives, I imagine. Not sure what I'll do then.</span>
