The only response you have to any of your feedback is look into your warranty, try looking into your product. <span itemprop="description">Very unreliable. My toddler has had a cold for a few days and I just checked hist temp. First reading said 100.5. Second said 98.3. Third said 100.1. Fourth said 99.1. This was all in a span of about 90 seconds and taking temp is the exact same place. On my way to the store to buy a different thermometer. Would return but it was a gift.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I love this thermometer because I have red the manual and understand how to get an accurate reading with it. you have to do the following: 1. Wait at least 1 minute for the sensor to cool off from the last reading. 2. Hold the sensor 0.50" +-.25" perpendicularly to the center of the persons forehead (the closer to .5" the more accurate the reading will be). 3. Do not move the sensor or the surface who's temperature is being measured during reading process. If you can do these things you will love this thermometer. I use it on my newborn and it has helped me keep his temperature close to 98.6 degrees which results in him being way less fussy than he would be with his body temperature a degree hotter or a degree cooler.</span>
