3 modes of use with 1 install! The Turn and Go 360° DLX Rotating All-in-One Convertible Car Seat is designed with our innovative SafetySwivel 360° rotational technology, allowing you to turn the car seat toward you for effortless face-to-face interaction with your little one. This rotation simplifies buckling and transferring your child in and out of the seat while reducing strain on your back.

Our all-in-one rotating car seat solves the number one installation problem that 7 out of 10 parents unknowingly face—loose belt tension. Equipped with SecureTech, Safety 1st’s red-to-green indicators on the seat’s base confirm proper belt tension, while the top tether's visual indicator ensures correct usage. With just one easy install, the 360° rotation across all 3 modes eliminates the need to reinstall as your child grows.

Designed for every stage, it supports children from birth to 10 years in 3 modes: rear-facing (5–40 lbs. and 19”–40”), forward-facing (22–65 lbs. and 29”–49”), and belt-positioning booster (40–100 lbs. and 43”–52”).

The Turn and Go 360° DLX meets or exceeds all federal safety standards. The attached connection cord ensures that the car seat and base stay securely connected at all times. Once installed, the cord prevents the car seat from being detached from the base, providing an added layer of safety and peace of mind for parents.

With its seamless rotation, advanced safety features, and long-term use, the Turn and Go 360° DLX makes every journey safer and easier.

I really wanted to like this car seat - we have another brand's swivel carseat and I LOVE it for my son, so I was excited to potentially have a second one for my daughter. The aesthetics of the car seat are nice (grey and black fabric with purple accents, cushiony material) but I am not feeling great about either the difficulty I had installing it or the lack of a consistently tight fit in the car. For some context, we have two kids under the age of 5 and between our two cars and a grandparent car we have 6 car seats that I am constantly moving, adjusting, etc. I take car seat safety VERY seriously and read all manuals thoroughly and regularly. I was installing this car seat rear-facing (my daughter is almost 2) with seat belt installation. As soon as I prepped to put it in the car I realized that unlike our other swivel car seat the seat part doesn't pop all the way off the base for installation but rather kind of tips back (one side disconnects) so that you can route the seat belt through the base. Our car is smaller (I'd call it a hatchback) and we have a car seat for my son on the other side of the back seat, which meant that when I "flipped" the seat part backwards it bumped into the other seat/ didn't fully clear the base without a lot of manuvering. I was able to install the base very tightly using the seatbelt lockoff and the top teather, but when I flipped the seat back into place and rotated the seat to rear facing the install already felt loose to me. I tried the install again, and it's a little bit better, but the base still moves more than I'd like it to. I do appreciate the multiple recline positions (in a small car especially) and noticed that the infant inserts (I took them out because my youngest is almost 2) seemed very comfortable and supportive. Overall, though, I don't think I can recommend this car seat as I feel there are other rotating ones on the market that are much better in my opinion.
Date published: 2024-07-12

Rated 4 out of 5 by mgheissa from back saver [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I initially thought that I would be using this car seat for our newborn, but we have found it more useful for our 2 yo toddler. Since this is not part of a travel system, its not as convenient for infants. It has however come in handy for our 2 yo son. I was struggling to get him into a rear-facing car seat in my sedan (big kid, short car), but this car seat has been a huge help to load him into the car. I followed the youtube tutorial for installation which was helpful and straightforward. Its aesthetically pleasing and so far the material seems great. I did however think that it’s a little narrow if you add the cup holders. Overall, I like the look of the car seat. I like how the infant inserts and the headrest have the coloring. That makes it so you don’t lose all the color when you remove the infant inserts. The thing I love the most is the 360 spin design! It makes getting my daughter in and out of the car so much easier! I don’t have to worry about reaching over her to get straps on and get her buckled, especially being in my last few weeks of pregnancy. One thing I did not like is where the handle is to turn the car seat. With it being on the bottom, it can be hard to reach when the car seat is reclined or close to the seat in front of it. One thing I had to get used to is that there was nothing to stop the car seat from spinning past 90° at a time. That made it so I spun the seat farther than intended, but it was a quick turn back to where I needed it to be. I do like that you can spin the seat in both directions, as when it is raining, I could spin the seat to face the inside of the car and get my daughter strapped in while staying dry! It was very easy to install the Safety 1st Turn and Go 360 car seat! It took about 10 minutes including reading the directions to get the car seat fully installed and ready to go! The hardest part was figuring out what lever changed the recline position. I really like that the cup holders are removable and when they are removed it doesn’t look strange or like a piece is missing. But mostly, I love that this car seat can grow with my daughter and will go all the way to a booster seat!
Date published: 2024-07-12

Rated 3 out of 5 by kathagonia from For every season there is a turn [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was excited to receive the Safety 1st Turn and Go 360 AIO Car Seat from Stellar Product Testing Panel! As there are only a handful of rotating car seats on the market, I’ve had my eye on them all for some time looking for the perfect one for my family. I’ve tried a couple of these rotating seats and they all have pros and cons. A few items that are important to note: Cons: Difficult to install and once installed properly it still seemed “loose”; the button to turn the car seat is located on the front of the car seat so in back facing mode I had to lean into the car to turn the seat; I found turning the seat with a toddler in one hand a bit difficult; the belt was a bit flimsy and hard to buckle; and the fabric seemed sweaty and sticky for hot summer days. Pros: Rotating feature! It was easy to pop the toddler into the car seat and turn into the correct position once it was already turned outward; once installed the seat can be rotated forward and backward (360!) so there’s no need to reinstall when the child is forward facing; the seat also converts into a booster so the seat can stay with the child through 100 pounds; there are many color choices and mostly importantly, the seat has a great price point for the rotating seat market. Thanks again, Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing me to review your lovely rotating car seat!
Date published: 2024-07-11

Rated 4 out of 5 by MamaNeedsCoffee from Super comfortable with great features [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was recently able to test the Safety 1st Turn and Go 360 AIO car seat. Install was a little tricky reading the included directions, but the installation video on the Safety 1st website made it much easier. I really appreciate the red to green indicators to help with getting a proper belt install. It took a lot of the guess work out of install. The car seat was super padded and comfortable for my son. The padding on the straps was also very cushioned. I really appreciated the rubber on the bottom of the straps to help keep them in place while buckling in a squirmy toddler. I absolutely love how easily adjustable the strap are by just raising or lowering the head rest. Not having to rethread straps every time my child grows is a dream! The harness straps were also super long, which made it much easier to set them to the side when loading and unloading the car seat. The only two features that I feel can use improvement are the placement of the swivel handle and the color of the unlocked/lock indicators. I found the handle placement really awkward to get to and trying to hold that while spinning the car seat with my other hand was pretty tricky. I also think making the locked/unlocked indicators when rotating would be super helpful. They’re currently both blue with a white lock and it’s hard to tell at a glance if the car seat is properly locked in place. Overall, I really enjoyed this car seat and am excited to continue using it as my son grows. Thank you to Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending me this product to review! Right out of the box I could see how comfortable it would be for my little one. Lots of great support for itty bitty babies but easy to use as they get older. The main feature that caught my attention was the 360 aspect of the car seat. Not just for buckling and unbuckling kiddo, but also for letting my other older kids get in and out of the van easier. As you can see in the pictures the seat would block the way for passengers moving to the back, but with the turn/swivel feature it helps them get by easy! That part is great because I have two rear/facing kids right now and two that need to move into the back seat forward facing. It was an easy install with great instructions in the manual, on the seat itself and a QR code to even scan and watch how to install as well. I look forward to using it more and I can tell my baby likes it too.
Date published: 2024-07-11

Rated 4 out of 5 by Meghan from Easy to install and easy to load and unload [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The seat looks nice and the fabric seams to be standard quality, although maybe not very breathable. I love the 360 spin for loading and unloading. You could even spin a rear facing child around to the front to pull them out of a parking space was too tight to get to the side. Installing and adjusting was mostly easy. It’s very heavy so I would not want to uninstall reinstall many times. But thanks to the 360 spin you can adjust it in place to accommodate kids in multiple stages as needed! I picked up a friend and her newborn while my 2 year old was at preschool and was able to quickly adjust the car seat for the baby without having to uninstall it. I love the seat belt lock off in the base and the green light windows to show when the base is tight enough - very helpful for a safe install! One negative was that the latch clips are not easy release. But if I only have to install it once, I’m ok with that. The 360 spin is really what sets this car seat apart. Otherwise, the fabric and quality are mid-level (not luxury, not cheap). One thing I didn’t like is that once clicked into place either rear or forward facing, the seat still feels a little “wiggly” in the base. I wish it was more rigid/secure and didn’t bump around. I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel; my honest thoughts and opinions are my own.
Date published: 2024-07-11

Rated 3 out of 5 by MMElliott6588 from Good Concept But Difficult to Use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. When I learned I would be receiving a 360 rotating car seat I was excited to test it out. When I switched my daughter from an infant seat to a convertible I had a hard time deciding if I wanted to to with a rotating seat or stick with a traditional one. I ultimately went with the traditional option and have always wondered if I made the right decision. After trying this seat I think I'm happy I went the traditional route. First off, I do like the design and look of this seat. The purple color is girly enough without being over the top, and my daughter looks comfortable in the seat. I am going to remove the shoulder pads. As you can see in the pictures they stick up and are in her face. There are also two cup holders, which I always think is a plus. I like that these are easily removable. It makes for easy cleaning of spills and crumbs. I also like the ability to adjust the straps up and down using the handle on the top of the seat rather than having to manually rethread the harness. The key feature of this seat is the ability to rotate it to make it easier to get your child in and out. While it does make the task easier I found it difficult to rotate my daughter into the rear facing position. The seat was very easy to rotate without a child in it, but when I added my 23 lb. daughter it was more difficult than I expected it would be. The biggest drawback I found with this seat is the installation. I have owned and installed no less than 6 convertible seats and this is by far the most difficult seat I've installed. I installed using the seat belt rather than the latch system, as the max weight for the latch system is 25 lbs and my daughter is already 23 lbs. You have to rotate the seat towards you and then release it from the base while lifting it away from you. It folds back and hangs by two steel cables. It took me a while to figure out I had to lift it all the way off of the base and let it hang. If you don't the seat falls back toward you and it's impossible to get the base installed. My seat made a terrible cracking noise both times I laid the seat back on the cables to work on installing the base. I don't know if that is normal, but it did concern me. I checked and didn't see any of the plastic cracked anywhere. It was pretty easy to run the seatbelt through the belt path and tighten it down once you're able to finagle the seat back and out of the way. The buckle seems way too close to my daughter and is very short. According to the manual you can only use the first and second buckle positions for rear facing. My daughter is fairly small at 18 months old and only 23 lbs., so I can imagine with a larger child this could be very uncomfortable. Luckily it doesn't dig into her legs, but it does making buckling her in a little more difficult because the buckle is so short. The wedge pillow must be used until the child reaches 30 lbs. It seems to move around and you can see in one photo of her how it is crumpled up under her legs. This was when I was adjusting the straps and making sure the fit was right before i put it in the car. Finally, I had a really difficult time tightening the straps past a certain point. When I was fitting her in the seat I was using both hands and much of my body weight to tighten them and, as you can see, they were still loose. I really have to tug and pull when it's in the car to get them tight enough. Overall I think the concept of the 360 rotating seat is great, but there is certainly room for improvement in the design of this product to make it easier to install and snug up the straps.
Date published: 2024-07-10

Rated 5 out of 5 by RotatingCarseat from Rotating Wonder [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We love this rotating carseat for our toddler! He is our 3rd and battles the carseat most of all. It is much easier getting him safely buckled in when we can rotate the seat to face us then rotate him to forward facing. Also, it saves our baby boy from so many head bumps when trying to lift him into his seat. We have a summer full of travel and this rotating car seat will make getting in and out of the car a much smoother process! Other notable things: it was easy for me (Mom) to install solo. LOVE the fact that there is a red/green indicator when the seat base is securely latched. The cup holders are easy to install and easy to remove to clean. With some LONG car rides ahead of us (20 hours across the country) this will come in handy! The seat is heavy/sturdy, but it is very sleek looking with a lot of comfort features so the straps don’t rub against baby. This seat has it all! Installation was simple and easy to ensure correct placement, though that being said, it may be difficult for a new parent who’s never installed one before. We love the removable washable cupholders especially as our child gets older. The adjustable headrest adds versatility for comfort and safety, our favorite feature. There is plush padding and we appreciate that the product will grow with our child. I am pregnant so the 360 rotation makes loading our toddler MUCH easier! The downside to most rotational seats we’ve seen is that they aren’t as secure as non-rotatable seats. The 360 feature is super cool, especially when you’re having to deal with a newborn and possibly having to feed or entertain them during car stops. I currently use this car seat for my 30 pound two year-old, but with a baby coming I can definitely see my newborn safely in it. I had to remove the newborn inserts after which I securely strapped in my 2 year old. I really like the no rethread harness and magnetic chest clips. As a product tester for the Safety 1st Turn and Go 360 All-in-One Car Seat, I had the opportunity to evaluate its features, installation process, and overall performance. Here’s a detailed review based on my hands-on experience. - Unboxing and Initial Impressions The car seat arrived well-packaged with clear instructions and all necessary components. My first impression was that it felt sturdy and well-constructed, with a modern design that should appeal to many parents. The padding and fabric seemed comfortable and of high quality, and the rotating base was immediately noticeable as a standout feature. - Installation Process - The installation instructions were straightforward, and the built-in level indicator was helpful in ensuring the seat was properly aligned. However, securing a tight fit using the LATCH system took some effort. In one vehicle, I found it challenging to get the seat to sit perfectly flush with the back seat, which might be due to the size and shape of my smaller car interiors. - The 360-degree rotation feature is a game-changer. It made placing my child in the seat much easier, especially in a compact car. I could swivel the seat towards the door, strap my child in comfortably, and then rotate it back into position with minimal effort. This feature significantly reduces strain on the back and is very user-friendly. - Safety and Comfort The car seat comes equipped with side-impact protection and a robust 5-point harness system. These features, combined with the energy-absorbing materials, provide peace of mind regarding safety. The seat feels secure once installed correctly, and the harness system, though a bit tricky to adjust initially, holds the child firmly in place. - My child seemed comfortable in the seat, thanks to the well-padded cushions and breathable fabric. The adjustable headrests and multiple recline positions allowed me to find the perfect fit for my child’s size and preferences. On longer trips, the comfort level was maintained, with no complaints of discomfort. - The rotating mechanism was smooth and reliable during daily use. However, I noticed that with frequent adjustments, it started to feel a bit stiffer. This might be something to keep an eye on for long-term durability. Vehicle Compatibility - The car seat is quite large, which could be a concern for smaller vehicles. In a mid-sized SUV, it fit well and did not impede access to other seats. However, in a smaller sedan, the size was more noticeable and required careful positioning to ensure it did not interfere with the front seats. Pros - Innovative 360-degree rotation for easy access. - Versatile design accommodates children from infancy to early childhood. - Robust safety features including side-impact protection. - Multiple recline positions and adjustable headrests enhance comfort. - Machine-washable covers for easy cleaning. Cons - Large size may not be ideal for smaller vehicles. - Achieving a tight installation can be challenging. - The rotation mechanism may become stiff with frequent use. - Harness adjustment can be tricky initially. The Safety 1st Turn and Go 360 All-in-One Car Seat offers a blend of innovation, safety, and comfort that is hard to beat. The 360-degree rotation feature is particularly impressive, making daily use much more convenient. While it has some challenges, especially with installation in smaller vehicles and potential long-term durability concerns, its overall performance makes it a strong choice for parents seeking a versatile and reliable car seat.
Date published: 2024-07-10

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hannah from Love the spin feature [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve always been interested in a car seat that spins so I was thrilled when I had the opportunity to try the Safety 1st Turn and Go 360 AIO car seat as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. When it comes to installation, I highly recommend familiarizing yourself with the car seat first, testing out the different features, and understanding the different parts. The spin feature is pretty different from a standard car seat so it wasn’t a straightforward installation until we got familiar with it. The spin feature does require you to pop out the seat part and have it hang to the side (see pic) so you can install the base. Doing that can make things crowded in the backseat if you already have a second car seat installed like we did. It’s manageable but just something to note. The latch anchors were my least favorite part. They work, but they’re not as easy to undo like other car seats that have a button to easily release the latches. The tension indicators on the base gave me peace of mind during installation. It was nice to visually see that the car seat had an appropriate amount of tension instead of guessing and just going by a feeling. Overall, the installation process was pretty sturdy, and the base feels really secure. Aesthetically, the look and design of this car seat is great. My toddler is comfortable and the look of the car seat is pretty on par with other options on the market. My favorite part of course is the 360-degree spin! Being 9 months pregnant, it definitely makes loading and unloading so much easier. My toddler also thinks it is fun to spin, which is a plus. My second favorite part was that when I put my toddler in the seat facing the door while I buckled her in, she wasn’t tempted to try and get out and run to the other side of the car. The sides of the car seat base have indicators that let you know when the spin feature is locked or unlocked, which is nice to ensure our little ones are safe and secure. I like that the buckle near the crotch is adjustable in place, whereas other car seats require you to take the buckle completely out to adjust. When it comes to the reclining feature, be careful where you put the hand that’s not pushing the recline button. For example, I had one hand on the recline button, and the other hand was holding the edge of the car seat at the crotch area to help guide the recline. However, I found that if I wasn’t careful, my fingers would get pinched as I decreased the recline angle. So I recommend having the hand that’s not on the recline button on the seat part instead to help guide the recline. I also wish the location of the recline button was a little higher because it seems lower than I would have expected. The removable and dishwasher safe cupholders are really nice. As parents, we love and appreciate things that make for easier cleaning. We definitely would not want to travel with this car seat. It’s not FAA approved for use on airplanes. Even if we were to check the car seat at the ticket counter or gate, it’s just too heavy and extra bulky to carry for our preferences while traveling. My last concern will vary by kid and the rate of their growth, but it’s worth noting that the weight limit for the highback booster is lower than other car seats we’ve seen. He loves that he is facing me while I buckle him, and thinks it’s great when his older siblings turn the seat and click it into position. Also, it’s much easier to keep clean because I just rotate the seat as vacuum it out on a regular basis. It’s a nice looking seat, and the installation instructions are easy to follow. I watched a YouTube video from the manufacturer and followed the instructions. It only took me a few minutes. I have a 4.5-month-old son and a 4.5-year-old daughter. Both of them were extremely comfy on this car seat. I liked how the 360-degree turn made loading and unloading easier; this will be especially beneficial with my younger child. This car seat is padded and cozy. Some booster seats are quite hard to sit on. The transition between infant and booster seats was simple. My daughter is pictured with the highest setting on the neck rest and seatbelt. She weights 42 pounds and is 43 inches tall. She can probably use this car seat for another year or two.I wish the back was taller so we could get a few more years of use. Overall, we are really pleased with this carseat. However, I'm also the type of person who is basically content with the base model of just about anything. That said, this car seat has been a gamechanger for my wife and I, as we are both vertically challenged and only getting older. First, I think the design is amazing. Even with the rotating base, it is somehow more compact but seems more cushioned than the car seats we're accustomed to. The base also goes higher up along the back of the car upholstery, providing a sort of kick-protection plate from our tiny rambunctious toddler. My only quibble is the strap cushions for the neck/shoulders/chest have this rubbery material on the underside that we've not had on other car seats; while they do have a premium feel, I'm confused about its purpose/function, as they can get quite warm after sitting in a hot car for some time. The 360-degree spin admittedly takes some getting used to (again, we're accustomed to your more traditional car seats), but once you remember the easy button on the base, it's basically life-changing. As I said before, my wife and I are both short and our backs are not what they used to be, so getting our last of three kids in and out of her car seat can be a pain sometimes - I didn't realize the rotating base could make it SO much easier. Our little one even thinks the spin is fun, so has been less likely to fight us getting in or out of the car seat. Installation was a bit of a challenge at first, as unfortunately the instructions weren't super clear. However, once we figured it out (which didn't take very long), we were able to install the car seat with very little issue (such as difficulty getting the angle indicators "all green", but we finally got it). I will say that I didn't like how the seat and base were attached by wires, as you have to remove the seat from the base in order to install it, so the seat is awkwardly in the way the entire time. However, I do like the tension bar mechanism which puts a good amount of pressure on the seat belt strapping the base in; we had a car base in the past with a similar mechanism, and like that one it makes this car seat feel super secure. Unlike that one, I would've preferred this car seat to have its own straps which click into the anchor hooks instead of relying on the seat belt; I think that would make installation (and the inevitable transferring) of the car seat even easier. Adjustments felt intuitive and was about on par with what we're used to, EXCEPT for the incline of the seat itself (not the base). This adjustment is cleverly built into the seat rotation mechanism, making it way easier to adjust than if it were in the bottom of the base like most other car seats we've had. All said, and it might be silly, but I think my favorite thing about this car seat is that I know I'll be able to switch her to front-facing with very little effort - instead of basically reinstalling the car seat, all we'll have to do is rotate it - that's awesome! The base doubling as a kick-protection plate as mentioned before is a close second, along with the fact that the car seat will grow with her, and we'll be able to enjoy it for many years.
Date published: 2024-07-10

Rated 5 out of 5 by Eraclis from Best rotating car seat [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rotating car seat is great! I have a large truck and getting my 28 lbs 13 month old in and out can sometimes be a struggle. However, with this rotating car seat, I can easily get my son in and out of the truck without having to constantly climb up on the running board. The only drawback was the install. I have installed many car seats but this one took a little longer than normal. It was still fairly easy but just took a bit longer than normal. Aside from that, we are very happy with the car seat, color, and our child seems to be very comfortable in it. Its 360-degree rotating seat makes it easy to get my child in and out of the car, saving time and hassle. I appreciate that it's an all-in-one seat that will convert as she grows. The seat stays attached to the base for added safety, but this makes installation a bit more difficult for one person. I particularly like the belt tension indicators for the belt lock off that turn green when the belt is tight enough. While it's a bit bulky, the sturdy construction and side-impact protection provide peace of mind, and the cushy seat makes my child fall asleep almost instantly. I give this a four-star review because the straps are a bit difficult to loosen and tighten, and the installation required more effort than I'm used to. Overall, I would recommend this car seat. We previously were using a traditional all in one convertible car seat (rear facing) for my 19 month old daughter before trying this out. There was a bit of an adjustment period for my daughter, to go to a different seat, but that could just be her. The seat is a good looking seat! The cup holders are nice and close to her, so that she can reach, which I’ve found can be too far away in other car seats. The material is very soft and feels comfortable. In regards to the swivel rotating function, I personally love it! We are currently rear facing, but having the ability to rotate the seat toward the car door to load my daughter in, and then rotate her to rear facing, is extremely convenient. The button to make the rotation possible is a little finicky, but I don’t mind as it gives me the sense it won’t just nonchalantly easily rotate when it shouldn’t. The lock indicator is a very reassuring feature to know when the seat has been rotated into a locked position. My husband installed the seat, and said it was pretty easy. We both really like the SecureTech visual aspect during installation when the colors moved from red to green to let you know the base is completely installed as tight as it needs to be. One aspect I do not love is the length of the in between the legs buckle. To me, I’d prefer a little more length so that the buckle is not directly in between the child’s legs right at the seat. Without that length, I sometimes struggle to clip into that buckle, especially if she is being a crazy toddler and fighting me to get into the car seat. I have to try to get both clips down pretty far towards her crotch while she is twisting and turning about. I also wonder if it’s less comfortable for my daughter to have a clip placed right there, without some length to bring it up above her crotch area. Overall, I would definitely recommend this seat. The look and design are great. The installation was easy, and adjustments to harness, headrest height, etc are also easy. My favorite part is of course the ability to rotate, which makes loading and unloading your child easier on your body! Previous reviews mentioned loose fitting, unsafe feeling, and not even willing to put their kids in it for use. I did not have any of these feelings once I received the product. Sure it was heavy, but once installed, following the installation instructions, I was confident in it. We have our one year old in it, and as her first seat from the fully infant carrier seat. She fits great, and we have no concerns about her safety. The swivel feature is really nice and works well. It latches firmly, but I would like to latch in the “open” position when putting the child in though. We did previously have a seat protector under the infant carrier, but took it out for this install and it fits snuggly in the back seat. Upon opening the box, the car seat was very easy to remove and comes in one solid piece. It feels very sturdy and well-structured. The overall feel of it is expensive and well-made. I love the design and the material. It is easy to clean and comfortable against skin. I had been eyeing this car seat for its compact nature in the rear facing position and the fact that it transitions eventually to a booster seat up to 100 pounds. We wanted something that could fit rear-facing in my Prius, but also last outside of infancy. There aren’t many brands on the market that fit both of those needs, but this fits perfectly in the back of my Prius, rear-facing. I prefer to watch videos on how to install car seats because I’m very much a visual learner and the video Safety 1st provides on their website/YouTube channel is very informative and easy to follow. It is the first car seat I have installed completely by myself, when in the past I’ve always needed my husband’s help to finagle it securely. I was able to do so in about ten minutes. The color indicators that show whether or not you’ve tightened it enough are so helpful. I had never seen that before, but it gave me a lot of reassurance I did it correctly and it was right enough against the seat. I also love how the base of the seat indicates if the seat is completely locked. I think that feature adds to the safety of the car seat and extra reassurance everything is as it should be when fastening your child in. The hooks were easy to clip to my car’s anchors and the belts were able to tighten without extreme exertion. My son is larger for his age (13 months and almost 26 pounds) and he does fit perfectly snug in the seat. The adjustable headrest and recline has plenty of options to fit any height of child without taking up too much more space between the head rest and the passenger seat. It remains compact in its installed area. The chest clip and waist clips are easy to close and open, and the tightening strap to secure my son is easy to use. Overall, I feel like my son is very safe and secure in this seat. I will use it in this car until he outgrows it. My two issues with this product are as follows. The cup holders are a very odd shape and size and do not adequately hold any of the sippy cups we personally use. My son is very particular about his straw, so it may just be the ones we have, but I didn’t feel like they had a universal fit. Secondly, the 360 turn is incredibly difficult to use. I don’t know if I have a defective base or if my son’s weight plays a role, but the position you have to hold your hand (perpendicular to your body facing into the car from the door) and then squeezing the rotation lock and pushing the car seat to rotate I found to be pretty difficult for a car seat that is designed to do this. It takes me several tries to achieve rotating the car seat to the side when my son is in it. When it’s empty, it’s easier, but moving him from the locked rear-facing position to the side is not easy. Once it is rotated, it does help getting him in and out of the car, especially with how heavy he is. I like fastening him in completely facing me as opposed to the side. He also finds turning into the rear-facing position hilarious. I feel like mine needs some extra grease or something to work more seamlessly. I’ve tried squeezing the rotation button at different pressures, holding my hand a difficult angle, pushing the seat to the side in different ways and nothing seems to help. Regardless of this complication, the size and fit of the car seat meets other needs we had to have, so it will not deter us from using the seat. I may need to watch other videos online to see if maybe I’m personally doing something wrong in my rotation method, but I also feel like I shouldn’t be some great learning curve.
Date published: 2024-07-10

Rated 3 out of 5 by Diane from Not worth it [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I'm glad I didn't pay for it, because I would most likely return it. I don't hate it, but I don't love it. The car seat is good for a convertible car seat, but the 360 feature needs some improvements. What I LOVED: - The base is easy to install. The red/green indicators are great for peace of mind, letting me know I got the latch belt secure enough. - I won't have to reinstall the car seat when my son switches to forward-facing mode. (I could see this feature being especially helpful for grandparents, babysitters, or other caregivers who have some children rear-facing and some forward-facing. - Loading my son facing me, then rotating the car seat rear facing is noticeably more comfortable for my back and hips. (I imagine c-section mamas would really appreciate this!) - The cupholders are much more secure than another Safety 1st car seat we have. - The fabric is easy to wipe clean (and boy did my toddler test this feature)! - The car seat locks securely. I never worried that it would rotate mid-route. What NEEDS IMPROVEMENT: - The car seat locks too securely. No matter what I tried and read in the manual, I was rarely able to get the car seat to rotate towards me with my son sitting in it. For reference: My son is 28 pounds, quite slim for a 2 1/2 year old. I almost always had to take him out of the seat rear-facing, then struggle with the seat to get it to face me (for easy buckling on our next car ride). Since this is one of the major draws of a 360 car seat, I don't think I'd buy this one until Safety 1st improves this feature. Something to CONSIDER: - As I was loading my toddler, I had to cross his legs when rotating him. He was pretty compliant, as he loved spinning in his new car seat, but this could be tricky with a more defiant toddler. - I do wonder if the weight impacts the car seat's ability to turn; perhaps a newborn is easy to turn in this seat?
Date published: 2024-07-09

Rated 5 out of 5 by BrittStew from What other car seat could you ever need [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this convertible car seat to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I am so glad i was! I've had 3 children and I've used a lot of car seats and this is by far the absolute best! The car seat is heavy at almost 40 pounds but once it is installed, that's it. It has a very nice look that competes with other high end, more expensive brands but yet has such a great price point. The install was very simply and the instructions are directly on the car seat which makes install a breeze. I love the spin feature that is a simply pull of a botton and my son loves it as well! Loading and unloading has never been more easy and also comfortable since you can just lift the child straight out and put straight in. This car seat also comes with 2 removable, washable cup holders. I highly recommend the Safety 1st Turn and Go 360 All in one Car Seat
Date published: 2024-07-09

Rated 5 out of 5 by annid21 from Quality rotating car seat [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this car seat! We are loving the car seat so far! Install was a breeze. Quick to install right out of the box. I found the instructions written on the base of the car seat extremely helpful, and I found myself reading those vs. the installation manual. Although we don’t need the infant inserts anymore, they felt plush and comfortable. The indicator on the sides are helpful to know when the chair is locked. The rotating aspect of the seat works great. Our little one often fights getting in, and this helps so much. I think it may be particularly helpful for anyone with physical challenges to buckling in, tricky install locations, and taller kiddos. Rotating makes it very easy to put toddler in chair. All the components feel great. It’s a quality seat. Only thing I would change about the seat is that you can’t remove the seat without the base. Sometimes when when there’s spills it’s nice to be able to take the seat out without taking out the base. Although not terribly difficult having the chair permanently attached to base could be challenging during the installation process. Overall great chair, and I highly recommend!
Date published: 2024-07-09

Rated 4 out of 5 by Amanda from Nice Rotating Car Seat [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was very excited to try this rotating car seat for my 2.5 year old. He is currently rear facing in a seat that does not rotate, and the prospect of no longer having to load him into the car backwards was thrilling. Once the seat came to us, I did not install it for a couple of days because I found the instructions a little confusing and complicated. But then a friend told me that there are installation videos online that were provided by the manufacturer, and I found installation to go pretty smoothly. Once installed, we really enjoyed this seat. It has plenty of padding and support for my son's comfort, and the removable and dishwasher-able cups are genius. And of course, the rotation makes loading and unloading easier on me. Just a note, though, the rotation works well but it is not the smoothest and does require two hands. Besides the obvious, my favorite thing about the spin function is that you install the base the same for forward and rear facing children, meaning that you could switch between the two without having to reinstall. My son is prone to carsickness on road trips and long car rides. I prefer that he rear faces, but facing forward helps with carsickness, and occasionally it may be worth it to face him forward so he stays more comfortable. This is just another example of how versatile this seat is. I'm looking forward to seeing how it functions as my son grows and starts using the booster seat. I would recommend this seat to friends who are looking for a seat that can follow your child through many stages, and who want a rotating seat to help with back strain while loading and unloading.
Date published: 2024-07-09

Rated 4 out of 5 by mm123 from Loading my toddler has never been easier [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Safety 1st Turn and Go 360 All in One Car Seat has some key features I was looking for in a car seat: soft, easy to clean fabric, rear/forward facing with an eventual booster seat option, and rotating seat capabilities. The seat itself was fairly easy to install in the back of my smaller SUV. The car seat fit both rear facing and forward facing in my car but I did find the seat a bit heavy and bulky. This seat wouldn't be ideal to move from my car to my husbands. My most favorite feature was the rotational aspect as it allowed me to get my child in the seat quickly. I was able to push in the lever and spin the seat with one hand while still holding my child. We know how squirmy toddlers can be when it comes to getting into their car seat so the 360 aspect gave me the opportunity to have my child facing me while putting her in her seat. This feature is a true luxury and back saver! There is an unlock and lock indicator on the side in case you do not hear the click when you spin your child around - an important safety feature. Once it is in locked position, you will be ready to roll! One complaint I have is that my almost 14 month old doesn't have much room when rear facing. Her feet were constantly banged up against the hard plastic backing. According to the weight guidelines, we could change her to forward facing which would provide her with more leg room but prefer to keep her rear facing at this time. The removable cup holders that are dishwasher safe are an added bonus! Overall, the Safety 1st Turn and Go 360 All in One is a safe car seat for my daughter that will allow her to go through different stages without the expense of an additional car seat. I was able to try the car seat with my 7 month old, 4 year old and 5 year old. They all loved the comfort and ease of getting in and out of the car seat. This is definitely a carseat that will grow with the child which is a lot better than having to buy multiple car seats. I didn't give the carseat 6 stars since the installation process was not as easy as I had expected. We have a Honda odyssey and when I tried using the seat belt installation process one tension indicator was green and the other one red I could get both of them green so gave up and tries the latch installation which worked better. The issue I have with the latch system is that it is harder to take the carseat out than when it is installed with the seatbelt.
Date published: 2024-07-01

Safety 1st Turn and Go 360° DLX Rotating All-in-One Convertible Car Seat Reviews - page 3

y_2025, m_12, d_13, h_9

bvseo_bulk, prod_bvrr, vn_bulk_3.0.42

cp_2, bvpage2n

co_hasreviews, tv_0, tr_116

loc_en_CA, sid_B43A0A32, prod, sort_[SortEntry(order=SUBMISSION_TIME, direction=DESCENDING)]

clientName_toysrus-ca

bvseo_sdk, dw_cartridge, 18.2.0, p_sdk_3.2.0

CLOUD, getReviews, 7ms

reviews, product
