My daughter I just turning 2 and her the pain/stain on the crib is all lifting, and with the dresser the bottom that stabilizes the dressed came right off while we were in boxing. I thought this was strange as my own bed slats are maybe 1-2 inches apart and have about 12-14 slats to support the mattress but figured the manufacturer knew what was required to properly support a full sized mattress. When my mattress arrived, the delivery guys mentioned the slats were WAY too far apart and that I would need to buy a box spring or subsequent slats otherwise the mattress would begin to sink within 2-3 months. I've bought and returned 3 different solutions now (box spring: standard box springs are 5 inches high and would make her mattress far too high off the ground), an IKEA bed slats system which won't work because there's no central support beam with the Sanibel full sized bed, and now I've purchased a bunkie board from amazon for an additional $125 which will be delivered in a few days - I'm hoping it'll work. If I had known how much trouble it would've been to get the proper support, I would have just bought a brand new bed that comes with proper support and not have to deal with all of this headache. I HIGHLY recommend you not purchase the full size conversion kit for this product. If I could give it less than 1 star, I would.
