She carries it everywhere she goes. Her favorite thing about it is the adorable little voice that it has, it records everything she says and then repeats it back in the cute helium voice. Very interesting concept. It is a toy animal balloon that makes funny noises and repeats what you say in a helium voice. She has very fun colors and kept my 6 year old daughter busy for a long while. As annoying as it can be as a parent we found ourselves playing with it too. I figured maybe the batteries that come with it were low, so it kinda just got tossed into a corner for a couple days til we tried it again. (The batteries are a non-standard battery that we don't regularly keep, which I feel is another minus.) Lo and behold, when we tried it again, it worked more like the instructions said. You press and hold the nose to record something, and then press the nose quickly again for it to repeat your recording in a high-pitched, fast version - which can be funny depending on the audience. You can rub its back to make a squeaky balloon sound and pop, but overall - it just kind of feels like...why? My 4-year old son is not super impressed with it. My daughter's love it! Their ages are 6 months and 7 years old. My 7 year old will record a message and my 6 month old thinks the TalkBack helium voice is hilarious! Out of all the interactive toys they have this one is probably their favorite! Not to mention that my 7 year old loves unicorns! All you have to do is press and hold the unicorns nose then say your message! Your unicorn will repeat your message in her squeaky helium voice! You can blow on her nose and you will hear her inflate. So it's just like you are inflating her yourself! If you blow on her nose too much you'll hear her pop! My kids thought this was so neat! She also loves it when you pet her. Pat her or pet her on the head and she will squeak with excitement. The more you pet her the happier she is.
