The diaper is fantastic in and of itself. We used these for my son last weekend and there were no messes. At the beach, he pooped at least once a day, and nothing leaked! The fabric is soft and pleasant to wear. They were basically true to size based on the weight of your child. With these swimsuits, I can rest easy knowing that my little man is in good shape. Overall, it's fantastic! I didn't have any issues with leaks at all, but once the get into the pool and you take them out, water is pouring out of the diaper which means that anything that was in the diapers is also pouring out. But to be honest and fair, I have 4 children and I've probably used just about every swim diaper there is and they all do the same thing. But like I said until they've been in the water for awhile the diaper is great, no leaks, great fit, very cute and reasonably priced. I would personally recommend them, there are more expensive brands out there that aren't any better than these. They do great in swimming waters as well as the bath tub. We used them in the bathtub as a test run before taking it to the pool. The fit is the low end of size 3 it seemed. So if your child barely fits in a 3, i would go to the 4. It withstands water well, and does not allow for any leakage in the pool. Hello Bello is the winner for me; hands down! My daughter loves these and thinks they're very comfortable. She doesn't try to tug on them or take them off which is a good sign. I love how they stretch and more with my daughter. It's almost as if she's wearing a swim bottom instead of a swim diaper!! One of the things I worry about is that swim diapers always swell up when they get so wet. I haven't had an issue with these diapers doing that so far which I love! I love how these don't leak either! And they are super easy to change with the easy tear sides. So if you do need to change them in case of an accident then you can do so quickly without hassle. They made pool days so much easier and so much fun! These are made without latex, parabens or phthalates. They're also hypoallergenic! I love love the cute designs on them as well!
