The sippy cup is leak proof and never spills. It's fallen several times and hasn't leaked or spilled. The design is gender neutral and super adorable. You can wash in the dishwasher by easily removing each part. My son can drink by himself and I don't have to worry about any spills or leaks. They are definitely leakproof and very well insulated. It is such an adorable design. I was impressed to notice that it is very lightweight. Other straw cups can be pretty heavy and that's not great for my infant to carry herself. Otherwise the cups are durable feeling and built nicely. I was most pleased to see that there was no leaking even turned upside down or shaken. Leaking is my #1 pet peeve with kid's cups. I was also happy that it's easy to take apart all the components for thorough cleaning. There weren't really any spots for liquid to get stuck and turn funky. I love the flip lid over the straw as well. My infant had no problems using it. I like that so far it is spill proof but she has a way of making spill proof cups spill so we shall see if it stays. The design is so adorable and the top is easy to use. My 2 year old has no problem opening and closing the lid. There are multiple pieces to take apart and clean but I would rather have more pieces to take apart than have mold in on of my kids cups! The cup feels very durable and the best part is that it is actually spill proof!!! This is been tested by my 2 year old son by shaking it and putting it upside down then shaking it again. Lol. He was very disappointed that it would not leak. Lol.
