But its very easy to clean and easy for babies to hold! I also had zero problems with it leaking. It is perfect for little hands and isn't too bulky for my daughter to hold. The spout is not too soft, but isn't hard plastic either. It is somewhere in the middle which is great since my 8 month old is teething and likes to chew on the spout. It is easy to take apart and clean-I just pop it in the dishwasher. The thing I love most of all is that this cup really is spill proof. I've seen this claim made on other cups but they always leak, and it's so frustrating to have spills on my baby's clothes as she's learning to drink from a cup. My daughter was holding this cup upside down, shaking it, throwing it on the floor, and not a single drop spilled from that cup. Ya'll I was in disbelief! I personally took the cup and held it upside down and nothing leaked anywhere. I'm super happy with this trainer cup and am grateful that I got to try this out. He was able to get the hang of how to drink from it, the handles really helped him get control. I do wish that it was see through so I was able to see how much water he was drinking throughout the day without opening the lid. Love that it has antimicrobial technology as well because lets be honest, trying to keep germs limited is a huge plus! It is spill proof, easy to carry because its not huge or heavy. It got lid which I love the most because its very hard going around without it. It's easy to clean. My son likes to toss and throw cups this one hasn't broken or leaked for him doing so. The tip is between a soft and hard tip sippy I'm sure would make transitioning easy my son is already use to sippy cups but he is also very picky about his cups.
