My thoughts are my own. My sons are quite taken with this toy! Interestingly, my oldest seems to have a stronger affinity for it compared to my youngest. It might be a tad too advanced for my 10-month-old at the moment. I think it would be more suitable for him when he's around 18 months old. The toy has lights and sound effects, but it doesn't quite capture my youngest son's attention just yet. On the other hand, my six-year-old absolutely adores it &ndash; he sings and talks into the microphone non-stop!!!! I have a feeling that my younger son will grow to appreciate it more as he gets a little older. Right now, he just wants to eat it! It plays songs, has different animal noises, lights up and the microphone part actually works really well. Also, the volume of the noises it makes and the microphone aren't too loud, which is a big plus, I don't find it annoying and can still carry on a conversation with it on. Unlike other brand&rsquo;s microphones that are 2-3 times the size of children&rsquo;s hands, this one makes them truly feel like they are singing into a real microphone. The sound quality when speaking into it, is very clear. Although I will say the only downside to this product I have found is it makes a weird frequency / tone when not being spoke/ sung into from time to time, but it is not always there so hard to pinpoint how to stop it.
