I'm aware that it's for children much younger but my 4 year old wanted it so she got it. The music it plays is soft and soothing, perfect for bedtime lullabys. It's compact and held together well. It doesn't get hot or anything of the sort. I feel comfortable with her sleeping with this bear all night because it's proven safe and effective for helping her sleep through the night. It does activate the songs with a simple touch which can get annoying for an adult but my daughter doesn't mind at all.</span>
