We do not recommend to use the Soothing Songbirds Mobile with a bassinet or a playpen with fabric wrapped surfaces. We recommend to attach only to cribs with sturdy rails and spindles. The Soothing Songbirds Mobile is designed to easily attach to cribs, strollers and infant carriers. For best performance, avoid attaching mobile to circular bars or other fabric-wrapped surfaces. We recommend to attach the Soothing Songbirds Mobile to cribs with rails that are between .40 inches and 1.57 inches wide. Always attach all provided fasteners (strings, straps, clamps, etc.) tightly to the crib according to the instructions in the manual and check frequently.
