There are definitely some good and bad qualities to the monitor. Pros: nightlight can be accessed from the camera. The microphone on the monitor picks up EVERYTHING. Sound quality of music and communication from reciever are great. Cons: camera is stationary and seems pretty zoomed in for being far away (even has a 2x zoom). If the reciever is not powered on the camera blinks the green light. The cord is short so camera has to be kind of close to the outlet. Its ability to zoom around the room allows us to find angles for pack and plays that our children sleep in. The temp feature is also helpful in that it allows us to know the temperature of any given room so we can adjust for our kiddos. Lastly, we really enjoy the range of this monitor. It tells you the temperature and one charge will last you all day it also has infrared night vision so you can keep watching your babies all night. There is a light that comes on in around the camera to give the kids a little night light. Also if need be there are 4 lullabies you can play to help them go to sleep. Works good for us, having two small kids in the same room. Can pan across room instead of having to use 2 cameras. The pan and tilt motors are extremely quiet and don&rsquo;t disturb them. The LCD screen is clear and bright, can be adjusted. It helps save the battery by turning the screen off, but will turn on automatically when there is movement or sound. We really like the night mode as it helps see him but also what the temperature in his room. The battery life on the monitor is great. There are several adjustments you can make, like zoom and you can hear all sounds in the room and talk through the camera as well. We only don't like that the camera view is extremely small. You have to hang it on the wall almost to the ceiling to be able to see the toddler in the bed. There is no way to hang this camera to be able to see whole room because the view is so small. Also the camera stand doesn't bend much so adjusting the view point is not very good.
