This is my favorite product so far. I like how easy it is to use; no goopy salve to rub on chest or feet, and no steamy humidifier putting too much moisture into my home. It's so easy to use, just slip in a vapor pad and plug it in. I like that it has a nightlight to help light a darkened room while I check on my kiddos. I also like that it produces the right amount of menthol laden vapors. Not too much to overpower the room, but enough that it assists my kiddos in breathing when they are feeling under the weather. I use this in my room as well, and I have since gotten an additional unit so I have one for each of my kids rooms. The vaporizer activated very quickly and only took a few minutes before you could smell the Vicks vapor smell in the air. We set the vaporizer on the lowest level to start just to make sure that it wasn't overwhelming and the low level was plenty for us. I'm not sure how much it helped with our congestion, but I imagine it was doing something based on the fact that we could actually smell while it was working. The pack that I got came with 3 of the vapor pads. They're easy to setup and place in the vaporizer. Once inserted, you simply plug into an outlet and adjust to your desired setting. I found it works best when plugged into a socket closest to where you sleep, and not in a large room. Make sure there is airflow, or it won't work as intended. Also make sure to use 2 pads for maximum benefits at night. First off it is ready to go as soon as you plug it in and add one of the little cards of scent. One on medium lasted all night with no issue. There is room for 2 of them but as no one is sick only one is needed for us. You can crank it up or down with a slider and it also makes it easy to change the pad when it is time. The scent is not overpowering but is just enough to help. The allergy problem was almost non existent as soon as we plugged this in. Over all I am very pleased and will be buying more refill pads. I love that you can control the intensity, not only by how many pads you put into the warmer but it also has a control on the side that lets you control it. I am also very fascinated with the fact that this has a nightlight, and not only does it have a nightlight but it also gives you the option to 'turn it off.' It has a little cover that you can flip and it will cover up the light so that you don't have the nightlight 'on' anymore. My kids were always getting colds and they had a hard time breathing at night. A friend recommended the plug ins and I haven't looked back since. The plug-ins provide soothing vapor that is released into the air making it easier for them to breathe with a stuffy nose. The plug-ins are incredibly easy to use and can be controlled by sliding the tabs up and down to control the intensity of the vapor. No water is required and all it needs is a Vapopad which can last up to 16 hours on low. The plug-ins also serve as an adjustable night light with varying levels of brightness. The night light, soothing vapor and gentle menthol scent that the plug-ins provide is perfect for helping you or your loved ones get a better night sleep when sick.
