An extra fun feature of this is the projection feature which my child loves to fall asleep to. And I much prefer the steam that comes out of the top vs the awkward air/mist that comes from the side of the old one we had. And the fact it's filter less and takes Vicks pads is a bonus. This humidifier has three different light shows to choose from if you would like to have your wall light up definitely cheer up the little ones when they're not feeling well but you get to choose a safari or the sea or starts and you get three of each ones to choose from. But unfortunately we only used it a handful of times before the motor started to sound very loud when running. It needs to be redesigned into something more durable that will last longer than a few times. We haven&rsquo;t had any issues with it. We do have to refill it every other night, that&rsquo;s the only thing. We are looking to buy a second one for when our next child is born.
