This has a large opening on the under side of the water tank which is large enough to get your hand inside to clean and dry the inside. The wide opening in the tank makes it so easy to fill and it doesn't come streaming out when you turn the reservoir over to place it on its base. The cool mist makes it so comfortable if you have a cough or congestion by easing the dryness in your throat and nasal passages. I really enjoyed how easy the humidifier was to assemble, along with the large filter whole to fill water directly from the sink. I love that there's no filter, it's quiet, small and compact for the room it's in. It has no filters, is whispering quiet, easy to feel and clean and has a auto shut off. It comes with a Soothing menthol vapors dual Vicks vapopad sample. The vapopad last for up to 8 hours the vapopads Are not recommended for infants under 10 pounds and not using more than 2 in a 24 hour period with children between 10-22 pounds, The pads contain eucalyptus and cedar leaf oil and others so if you have an allergy to these use the humidifier without them. You can run the humidifier for up to 36 hours at a time. This version is designed for a medium room size and holds 1 gallon of water in the tank , the medium room size is 400 square feet. It has been designed to hold and use a demineralization cartridge and hard water areas. The water holding tank has a wide mouth for easy cleaning and filling. The humidifier keeps Rooms in the comfort zone between 40-60 percent humidity.
