This humidifier changed all that and we are no longer having any issues and we love it. Compared to other options on the market this is the best on at the price point and the value and quality has been incredible. This 1 gallon cool mist model is perfect for any size room. I&rsquo;ve been using it in my living room to give it a little more moisture in the air when I&rsquo;m working during the day. This is also the perfect size to put in a babies room and know that the coolmist will work perfectly and not get too hot for the touch. I love that it is filter free so you don&rsquo;t have to worry about buying any replacement filters. There&rsquo;s a dial on the front to control how much of a missed you want to come out of the top for the flow. The tank is very easy to fill and also to clean out it&rsquo;s wide enough to get your hands in. There is a little drawer on the side that you can use to put a Vicks vapor pad in it although I prefer not to use that feature of it. Now with it being filter free, I do clean it more. I like it doesn&rsquo;t take up a lot of room either! I really enjoyed how easy the humidifier was to assemble, along with the large filter whole to fill water directly from the sink. The size of the humidifier fits perfectly on the end table in the bedroom and was silent throughout the night. Another huge plus is the free Vicks (menthol) sample pad that was included. I would highly recommend only using the pads when you have a cold or congestion because they are strong. Cleaning the humidifier was a breeze due to the removable pieces and detailed instruction booklet with plenty of tips. I like that it doesn't require a filter and I like the 1 gallon capacity of the tank and that it will run for up to 36hrs. It does require weekly cleaning which is pretty simple to do and the instructions are in the user manual. This has a large opening on the under side of the water tank which is large enough to get your hand inside to clean and dry the inside. There is a little door on left side of the base if you choose to use a vapor pad with it but you don't have to use a vapor pad if you don't want to, but I do like this feature for when I have a cold. I use a humidifier daily in the winter because once the heat comes on the air is very dry and this solves that problem. I let it run with the dial turned all the way over to the three drops for about an hour and half then I turn it down so I don't have too much moisture in the air. This unit is very quiet so you can use it in your bedroom and I didn't find that it had any leaking. I also like that you can use the Vicks VapoPads for the refreshing Vicks aroma to help with breathing and sleeping better. There is a sample of the pads included so you can try them out. The cool mist makes it so comfortable if you have a cough or congestion by easing the dryness in your throat and nasal passages, while the easy to adjust dial makes it a breeze to choose the level of humidity that you desire. You can add Vapopads if you wish, by placing them in the side compartment. The humidifier can run for up to 30 hours on a single tank making it so convenient. The levels of the mist can be adjustable also. Since the water in my area is very hard and bad, i am using distilled water to protect the humidifier. It is super easy to use. Cleaning appears to also be very easy. I like that I can change the position of the spray nozzle. The Vicks Vapopads are really great and help to clear my dry nose and congestion. It runs quietly throughout the night. It helps me to sleep more comfortably all night long. I am very happy with this humidifier and use it daily to help with my congestion and breathing. It&rsquo;s easy to fill and holds a gallon of water for continuous cool mist throughout the night. I love that it is filter free!!! It has helped with reducing my husbands nose bleeds, keeping the air perfectly moist while we are sleeping. I had read that dry air in the home could be the cause and adding a humdifier may help. So decided to give it a try. We have been using for a several days now and have noticed that our nose blowing and congestion seems to be less. So we will continue to use. I like that it is very quiet and compact allowing it to sit on our night stand without taking up alot of space. The water tanks holds a good amt of water. The first time we used we filled completely and had over 1/4 of the water unused in the morning so we now only fill a little over 1/2 to get a us through a 8 hour period.
