<span itemprop="description">Whenever my daughter is seeming a bit under the weather or complains of not feeling well, I always start by taking her temperature so I can know if it goes up or down (just in case its only the start of her becoming truly sick). This item is great for taking on the road while traveling.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We have used this thermometer correctly, and it’s not correctly reading our baby’s temp. He had a fever of 37.7 (detected by new Braun thermometer) and this one wasn’t showing over 36! PLEASE DO NOT BUY!</span>

<span itemprop="description">Always has an error code, which according to the manual means it’s overheated or too cold, despite being stored at room temp. Also said low battery on a new battery. Got no value from this product.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Bought it and the battery died the first time I tried to use it. Went out and bought a brand new battery, used the thermometer twice and then the battery died again. Not worth the money.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This ear thermometer works great with my 18 month old! I find that it's hard to get an accurate underarm temperature with a regular thermometer from him now that he's older and squirms more. On the other hand, this thermometer takes his temperature within seconds so he has no time to pull away.It's very quick and easy to use. I generally try to take two temperature readings from each ear to ensure that it's correct.</span>

<span itemprop="description">We bought this for our infant/newborn son when he was 'sick' (or so we thought). There were 2 occasions when this thermometer indicated that our baby was running a fever when infact he wasn't. We rushed to the ER once and waited for the pediatrician the second time. Every doctor we have spoken to since our baby was born has mentioned that the ONLY way to get an accurate temperature is to use a rec tal thermometer. If you are planning on using this for a newborn or infant under the age of 2 years old, then just buy the cheap digital thermometer from any drugstore rather than waste your money on this device.Also, the temperature is off by up to 2-degree's so it's hard to get an accurate reading.</span>
