<span itemprop="description">This is a good product in theory. However after having used it through the summer I can now confirm it isn't the greatest. I think the seat is uncomfortable after some time (it's a hard flat seat and the cushion it has is very minimal). The front wheel kept getting stuck so I emailed the manufacturer and they sent me a new one.</span>

<span itemprop="description">My baby loves being pushed around in it. The rubber wheels make for a smooth ride and seems to have some type of traction on bumps. The hood can go down really low so great protection from the sun. Also like that my baby can keep his feet up comfortably (although he dangles one foot down always). I wish the storage was bigger, but I have to remind myself that it’s a tricycle, not a stroller. Overall im happy with the purchase.</span>

Hi, thank you for your question! The sunshade can be used as long as the parent is in control of the trike. Once the child starts taking the first steps towards pedaling by themselves, the sunshade might make it difficult for them to keep balance. We recommend removing the sunshade in the later stages of the development and allow your baby a nice comfy ride. Have fun triking with your baby! Regards, the smarTrike team
