Hi Anna, The distance between the screws on the guard rail is 18 3/8 inches. As for returning, yes you can return the item within a certain time period. And no, the Bayfield Guard Rail will not work for the Victoria Crib.

Hi, The Bayfield Toddler Guard Rail is only compatible with the Bayfield Crib.
