The Braun Age Precision Digital Thermometer has a color coded display ,is age adjustable, and gets your results in a quick 8 seconds. I was very surprised how easy this thermometer was to use. You get your results really fast, only 8 seconds, which is great especially for small children and infants who don't like to sit still. The color coded display makes it so easy to understand your results, and the age adjustable function makes it easier to understand what is good for an infant versus, toddler, versus adult. I would definitely recommend the Braun Age Precision Thermometer for any family. I know it will now be a gift I will be giving to anyone having a baby. I tried the Braun Age Precision Digital Thermometer with patented age precision technology that allows you to select the age range of your child and uses medical guidelines to interpret the severity of temperature. It has a large colour coded display with InSight technology for an easier read. I tried the thermometer on my daughter. It did not take long for the results to appear on the display screen and they were easy to read and understand. My daughter has a hard time sitting still and doesn't really like having the thermometer in her mouth so I was relieved when the results were so quick to appear. The tip is easy to clean with just soap and water and then you can store it away with the protective cover for future use. I would recommend this easy to use thermometer to anyone with kids. The water resistance and memory recall are handy features. I use this mainly when I feel out of commission and I know, that there is a fever coming on. Unlike older thermometer, this has a flexible tip where you can place it in various spots inside your mouth. The colour-coded helps to detect differences in severity of temperature. Not everyone knows the appropriate temperature for a fever in different ages. This is not only a thermometer but it educates the user when they don't know how to read for fevers especially in younger age groups. This is a very useful tool to have in everyone's home. This thermometer features a flexible tip, 8 second reading which is very convenient for families with younger children who cannot stay still for as long. It also comes with a protective cap for ease of storage. In my experience, I do find the claims to be quite accurate, and the reading is quite quick. I did find that if my children didn't held the thermometer tight enough, the reading time took much longer. But the flexible tip helped with that regard. One thing I wish it has, is to remember the age setting last used. That way, I don't have to press the age button when I turn it on, which took a few seconds to go to the 36 month+ category. I like that you can program it to different ages which will be great for anyone that has Infants or small children. It only takes 8 seconds to get a temperature reading. This came in very handy when my teenage daughter woke up not feeling well. She thought she had a fever but in just a few seconds it was confirmed that she didn't.
