While it was a little challenging to grab them at first, the material is easy to hold on to and they don't slip out of the hands of small little ones. It was a little hard to clean at first and then I realized they could be washed in dishsoap water and not just wiped off. He currently enjoys throwing them all over the place as well as stacking them on top of each other only to knock them down. They are bright and colorful and also are great for bath time fun. Super soft so no worries about little ones getting hurt! They are great for teething babes and they also provide great opportunities for fine motor skills. The blocks don't easily fall, so unstable balancing is OK! They are easy to hold especially for little kids. It doesn't slip on their hands because of the size and texture. They are colorful and very attractive. My son enjoys stacking them up and then smashing them down to rebuild and start all over again. They are very soft and can be squeezed easily. They are also fun to play with during bath time. It encourages kids to use their imagination and also learn to build and count.
