Our little one is big for his age so the various recline settings are really helpful. There are lots of choices out there but many have difficult and frustrating connection systems. For first time parents we didn't want to compromise our daughters safety because of other seats that can be installed incorrectly without proper training (that is never free, no convenient ) This seat is easy and can be installed in a few minutes to the safety standards required. The other thing is if it needed to be removed and installed in another car for the day (i.e. baby sitters, Grandparents), it can with such ease. We are getting another one dedicated for airline travel and rental car purposes due to a trip we had to the USA with a difficult seat provided by the rental car company that was horrible to install and a less than we would want for safety if there was ever a car accident .
