I should have listened to earlier reviewers. Indeed, the car seat is meant to comply rest on top of the adapter. No attaching, clicking, or securing in any way. That is quite an unsafe way for the adapter to work. We didn&rsquo;t even make it out of the house before the car seat moved enough that we felt the car seat (and baby) would end up on the floor. Terrible system and terrible waste of time and money. When we bought the Summit, we needed a new adapter (kind of a bummer but totally fine). This one works great! Easy instructions and installation.
