It&rsquo;s not an eyesore in the middle of your home. It comes with different extension options which is great, because it can get really wide. I like the gate with the latch. You have to lift the gate to open it and there is no way my toddler could do that, so I feel like he&rsquo;s extra safe. I also like that I don&rsquo;t have to step over it. This gate was difficult for me to install. It was hard to get it tight enough and evenly spaced in the middle of the door frame. Maybe that was just me! It's durable and sturdy and the setup was simple! I love the wood color, and I really love how it opens with the latch. My daughter is 15 months, and really intelligent with latches and door knobs, but she can not work the latch on the gate herself. The arched doorway with integrated handle allows for easier walk-through while the integrated doorstop provides extra security. This gate can be installed in doorways and stairways. It stands at 30&rdquo; tall and fits openings 28.5&rdquo;-42&rdquo; wide with extension frames. We received this gate a few weeks and have really enjoyed it. My son has to be watch all the time and could not close his door so we were unsure about switching him from crib to toddler bed. So we put this gate in his doorway and switched him to his toddler bed and it has been great. We can leave his door open, see him and get to him quickly if need to. Pros: gate swings both directions, easy to install, auto close or can stay open, and feels sturdy.
