Does this come with everything you need to transition throughout the 4 phases? It says the Crib Conversion Kit Included it not included. Is it one kit total that you need or one kit for each phase? How much are they?

Hello: The Child Craft Dresden crib can be converted in to a day bed without the purchase of any conversion kits. For the other conversions to toddler bed and adult full size bed, the toddler bed requires the purchase of a guard rail (F09574) and the full size bed requires bed rails (F06464) and a complete mattress set. Hi Betsy! For the Child Craft Dresden Convertible Crib, there are three different mattress height positions. You are correct that the text is confusing! From the crib's front, top rail, the distance down to the surface of the mattress support is 22&quot; from the highest setting, 25&quot; from the middle setting, and 28&quot; from the lowest mattress support setting. The Child Craft Dresden crib does not come with a mattress. The appropriate mattress dimensions are no smaller than 27 1/4&quot; x 51 5/8&quot;. When selecting a mattress you want to test for the appropriate fit. Place the mattress in the crib. There should be no more than 1/2&quot; of space between the mattress and the crib side on any side. If the mattress is pushed to one side in the crib, you should have no more than 1&quot; of space between the opposing side and the crib side.
