It is well built and very sturdy. The reason I bought this item was to have a changing station downstairs for convenience and to last for a long time. My other changing station only went up to 15 lbs which my son grew out of quickly. It's a great height and does not take up too much space. I was able to assemble on my own and in and fairly quickly. The quality seems fine.
