<span itemprop="description">I have been pumping for about 2.5 months using brands other than Dr. Browns, and honestly, I could never find that pump which was perfect for me. I was given this Dr. Browns handpump a few weeks a go, and it was a LIFE CHANGER!
Things I love about this pump:
1.) Comfortable
2.) Super easy to use
3.) Helps me express a lot of milk in a short period of time (in about 5 minutes I was able to pull about 2-3oz from just 1 breast!)
4.) Perfect size for on the go (for in the car or to even take to work for a quick pump session)

<span itemprop="description">I enjoy using this pump more than the one I recieved from the hospital. It has more parts and I did almost break the suction cup the first time I pulled it apart to clean it. However since then I am able to easily take it apart and put it back together.
It has more parts and is louder than the other manual pump I have. However the suction and amount I am able to pump is better. I actually prefer this manual to the electric evenflo electric pump I have.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Finally, a breast pump that actually takes comfort into consideration! I am an exclusively pumping mom and when I received this pump, I was starting the process of weaning. I already had a few sores from my electric pump flanges rubbing. The silicone flanges of this pump were so much more comfortable and gentle!!! I also love that Dr. Brown’s thinks about small details, like putting a pull tab on the valve - also genius!
I only gave it 4 stars because of a few minor details that could be better. This pump is a bit noisy. I think because it had a larger, bowl-shaped silicone protector piece, that thing gets really squeaky sometimes which is a bit annoying. It’s also slightly more difficult to put together than other manual pumps I’ve used, but easy to get the hang of. On the expression setting, it seems the handle might be a bit far away to comfortably pump with one hand, and I have long fingers, so others might struggle with this more.
Overall, this pump is a welcome step in the right direction towards actually comfortable pumping. Even with a few minor flaws, it is still a vast improvement over other manual pumps I’ve used in terms of comfort.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This is a great pump for those who need to pump occasionally. It’s easy to use and the soft flanges are more comfortable than my rigid Medela ones. It works great for pumping to take the edge off of your supply is too much or if you need a bit of milk in the fridge for someone else to give baby a bottle. This would be a tough only pump if you were using it more than once or twice a week as you have to squeeze the handle to get it to pump.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I have the Medela Harmony and the Dr. Brown manual breast pump to try. Comparably, the Dr. Brown manual pump is bulkier and bigger; however their silicone shield is extremely comfortable. Both hand expression trigger feels ergonomic to use. I find the Dr. Brown's one a bit louder when pumping. These manual pumps don't pump nearly as much as my electric pump, but when you're in the car or out traveling and you need immediate relief from engorgement, these are extremely handy to have. I'm one month post-partum and always have one in my bag now. I got this because my baby uses the Dr. Brown's bottle and I thought it would be nice to immediately pump and feed her using the same bottle (less bottle washing!) instead of pouring into another bottle. The price is very reasonable.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This manual pump is amazing. It’s super comfortable against the breast. I love how easy it is to use. The best part is it’s super easy to switch between the modes. I get more from this pump then I did with other manual pumps. This is by far my favorite. I love how it can come apart fully so I can get every part clean when washing it. The only downfall is it can be sometimes loud. I also wish I could find a bottle to fit it besides the one that came with it.

I’ve used it while traveling and to pump for comfort after baby didn’t eat a lot. It’s easy to use and extremely comfortable - LOVE the silicone shield. One star off because it’s not the easiest to clean - just a couple extra parts, but not a big deal if you’re already washing baby stuff or throwing it in the dishwasher.</span>

It is a little louder than I expected it to be for being a hand pump, which isn't an issue for me, but I know it can be for others. I think it is just me, but I don't seem to pump quite as much milk with the manual hand pump, but I still feel like this is a good substitute for an electric pump. I love that it uses the Dr. Brown's silicone breast shields/flanges. I do wish it was compatible with the narrow bottles since that is what I use for my son, but I can see how the narrow bottles could be a problem if you need to set the pump system down. Overall I think this is a good product!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This was a great manual breast pump, others I have tried don’t suction very good and take a long time to fill up a bottle. After I tried this I was filling up multiple bottles a day with no problems. Giving me time to do other things with my busy mom life!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I found this manual pump to be very easy to use on the go. The part i liked the most is the flexible flange, as I have only used the hard ones in the past. It was much more comfortable and molded better while in use. I felt like it got better suction and control. The pump portion was a little bulky, but it was very easy to use still. The hand pump was smooth and I was able to get a good flow. I do feel the adjustment at the top could be easier to use, however, especially while in mid-flow. I had a difficult time switching modes with it attached.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I just recently went back to work and have decided to use this pump. It works great. The only problem I had was switching from letdown mode to expression mode the first few times was tricky. Now that I have used it a couple of times I'm more comfortable.</span>

Thank you for your inquiry. The Dr. Brown's Manual Breast Pump is designed to use with the Dr. Brown's wide neck options+ bottle. The medela bottles would not be compatible.
