<span itemprop="description">I loved how the manual breast pump allowed me to have more overall control. Whether I was pumping for the baby or just for relief, the pump is super easy to use and very quiet. I must say, I did not personally experience any discomfort with this product. It was very comfortable to use. I also love that its the perfect size to take with me wherever I go and can easy be concealed in my purse or diaper bag. The silicon shield was also perfect to secure the milk which made me very happy. I would definitely recommend.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I received this pump to test out for honest feedback. The pump is great for moms who don’t necessarily pump all that often, but pump to relieve overfilled breasts when their baby misses a feed, when they’re out and about, etc. mainly since it’s manual.
Pros: 1. quiet and comfortable. I didn’t experience any discomfort due to being able to control the suction strength and speed. 2. The silicone shield makes it much more comfortable on the breast/nipple than hard plastic shields. 3. I like that the pump comes with a whole Dr. Brown’s bottle. So if your baby has a lot of gas/reflux, you can just pump and directly feed them. 4. I like that there’s 2 modes so it stimulates your milk release similar to how a baby does while breastfeeding.
Cons: while I really like that the duckbill has a little tab to pull on for easier removal, I noticed it would essentially open the duckbill and wear it out faster. This mound require faster replacement and less longevity. As most moms know, if the duckbill gets worn out/open, it produces less milk output.
Additionally, while I like the 2 modes, it is more difficult to switch between the two compared to my Lansinoh pump. With my lansinoh, I can use one hand to press the handle and switch modes. The Dr. Brown’s one, I have to use 2 and it’s a little less seamless.
Regardless, this pump produced the same amount of output as my Spectra pump but in about 15 mins as opposed to 20! Overall, it’s a great pump!</span>

I will tell you, I am amazed how easy it is to use the Dr Brown' s Manual Breast Pump. Once I was comfortable, the milk flowed easily and it didn't take much time at all. There is very little discomfort and noise. Dr Brown's Manual Breast Pump makes deciding to breastfeeding the best decision ever.</span>

It is super easy to take apart,clean, sanitize, and put back together. It has great suction and very effectively drains the breast in very little time. Super quiet, great for nighttime in between night and morning feedings if baby is sleeping too long so you don't become engorged, and also great for unclogging clogged ducts. <span itemprop="description">I tried this pump after using another manual pump without much luck and found some relief in this pump. The flange is so comfortable with its flexible silicone. It also is steadier and sturdier than other pumps I've used. With any pump there is a learning curve with the pumping action and using letdown mode and switching to pumping mode and I had some difficulty with that but I would say that is to be expected with any new product. I would recommend this pump to new moms wanting a manual option to supplement other pumping options.

<span itemprop="description">This manual breast pump is so easy and comfortable to use! I took on a weekend trip and used it more than my electric pump. The SoftShape silicon shield allows for each seal to really stick! The pump comes with all the necessary items to quickly convert into a bottle on the go. I’ve used two other widely known brands and have not been able to get this much milk production. Even though the pump is a little larger, it is easy to handle. I also appreciate the fact that the pump is made of all transparent plastic so I am able to make sure it is completely cleaned and not have to worry about mold growing inside the pump, as I have read with others. It was easy to transition between the letdown and expression modes and start the pumping process. Overall, a very good starter manual pumping kit and it is highly recommended!</span>

<span itemprop="description">I really cant say enough about the suction on this pump, but with that being said it is uncomfortable for the first few pumps. It hurts my nipple with the tugs. After a while I get used to it. It is loud, I have woken my baby pumping next to her, if I use it, it would have to be in a different room as the plastic makes a sound while you pump. It also takes some muscle to pump it, or maybe I just have small hands or you have to break it in. I have to switch between both hands to pump because I get tired. As I mentioned I liked the suction of it but theres a few bothersome things. It was easy to clean, the bottle was perfect! It fits 5 oz and is very easy to hold with the hourglass shape it has. I love the dr. B brand.</span>

Pump is quiet. I am happy that I can pump it directly into bottle. My baby usually only feeds from one side at a time. I have used this while nursing baby on one side and used this on the other side to both catch letdown milk and pump a few ounces to decrease engorgement.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I received this product to test. I use Dr. Brown's wide neck bottles and being able to pump directly into those bottles is very convenient. The silicone flange is nice however when pumping my nipples were a bit uncomfortable, not sure if this was due to the size of it or the pump being so new. The pump is a bit noisy for a hand pump but other than that it's easy to use.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I liked the silicon shield, it's more comfortable than the hard plastic flanges, the suction is good, the suction levels are a great addition. It was really easy to use and easy to assemble. Would definitely recommend it.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Having only used electric pumps I was a little skeptical on how this would work, I suffer from a low milk supply due to having PCOS so even with the electric ones I barely get any milk out. I found that this actually got me more milk in a 10 minute session then the double electric one does in a 15 minute session. I personally loved my experience with this manual pump.</span>

Thank you for your inquiry. The Dr. Brown's Manual Breast Pump is designed to use with the Dr. Brown's wide neck options+ bottle. The medela bottles would not be compatible.
