Baby gate arrived broken in multiple parts and Toys R Us nor the manufacturer would do anything (as unfortunately was outside the 45 day window for returns - bought before we needed it and didn't open until our daughter was starting to army crawl - won't make that mistake again). Regardless, it's an absolute hazard and should have no faith put in it to keep your kiddo safe. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!</span>

<span itemprop="description">This product is nearly perfect. It was simple to install, easy to adjust, and well made.
The only issues I have is that the length isn't as modular as I'd like. It's too long, and needs to bend to fit, taking up more space than ideal. Also, because of that bend, there's slack in the modular angle adjustments, making the structure slightly wobbly. Rubber footings at the hinges would mitigate this issue on wood/laminate flooring, but it looks like this product was geared more towards carpeted stairs.</span>

<span itemprop="description">Very versatile, well-built baby gate. It works well for large openings and can work even if the walls are at angles to the opening. The gate is secure and the two-step safety latch is easy to use. The smallish screws supplied are more than adequate as long as the gate is positioned so the screws pass through the drywall into wooden studs. The gate can be set up so it swings both ways or only one way by installing a small part that is supplied. If, after tightening the locking knobs, the gate location seems not very secure, a small piece of double-sided foam tape can be used between the actual gate portion and the floor.</span>

<span itemprop="description">This gate has made our lives so much easier with our very busy 8 month old. It’s easy to open and the auto close feature is awesome. My three year old is able to open it making it even better that I don’t have to constantly let him out of ‘baby jail’. It’s sturdy and was very easy to install. My only complaint is that it’s difficult to put away when not in use (but it’s not impossible). We leave it up all the time but do disconnect it from the end pieces attached to the wall when we have people over.</span>
