Though it&quot;s lightweight, the seat is very sturdy, secure, and safe. With having 3 car seats across a bench seat, space is at a premium so I really appreciate a small profile car seat. It&quot;s easy to access the seat belt latch and my twins could easily climb into it and fit past the booster getting to the other seats in the car. Also even though it has a small profile the seat definitely has ample room and allows for a comfortable ride. Both my twins enjoyed riding in it - they fought over who got to sit in it and said it was very comfortable and fun! The geometric pattern is stylish, the material is made well, and cleans up easily. The cup holders are well situated and provide handy drink access. My favorite feature was the adjustable headrest along with the lightweightness and slim profile. It really is simple and quick to adjust the headrest with one hand on the handle. I adjusted it for each twin effortlessly and the seat fit them both well. My one negative is in the assembly. Out of the box the assembly is quick and straightforward with the directions. It took all of about 5 minutes - another feature I appreciate as I don&quot;t have much time. The only drawback was the initial connection of the seat back to the seat base takes some force. To be fair it&quot;s even stated in the directions. I received this from The Stellar Panel for my honest feedback. My boys are ages 5 and 7, both fit in this just fine. It was very comfortable, and roomy as well. Also, the 2 cup holders are amazing! That helps so much with holding their drinks, snacks, toys, etc. They are also deep pockets so it holds especially their drinks so much better! No worries of it flying out of the cup holder. The adjustable headrest, I absolutely love that I can adjust it to fit them better, and be more comfortable for them. However, it can be a pain to adjust, it's very hard to pull most of the time, and gets stuck. I also want to mention, putting this together was a little bit of a struggle too. The back piece was definitely tricky to get put on. I'd love to see that redone to be easier putting on, as well as a little more sturdier. I was worried about it breaking while putting it on because it was very flimsy. It just didn't seem to want to go on, so we had to keep messing with it to get it to go on. I would also like to see the base part have a little more weight to it. If you're using this as a booster with the back piece on, it will tip right over very easily. But with them in it properly, and fastened in, it doesn't do that thankfully. I just don't care for how easy it tips over, so if you're going around a turn and your kids aren't with you, be prepared this is going to go flying. I do however love the design, and the base part. But the top half needs some improvements, and the base could use a little more weight to it. Lastly, this didn't take up much room in my vehicle, I have an SUV, and we will had a decent bit of room. Overall I absolutely love the design, and the colors on this. It's comfortable, and the deep pocket cup holders are a major plus. I definitely don't miss drinks flying out of the cup holder, and going all over my car. I would still recommend if you're using just the bottom base piece, because it works just fine, and is very comfortable. My son is 6yrs, 48in, and 48lbs so I chose to use the high back booster mode. I received the car seat unassembled and was able put it together in 15 minutes following the directions. I was initially unsure of how confident I was because I have always purchased preassembled car seats. The car seat is lightweight and therefore easy to transport to the vehicle. I installed it in my husbands truck which is a 4 door extended cab. It was perfect for this use for two reasons. First, the rear truck seat is small so has limited space. This slim fitting booster car seat allows us to have room for three seats across for our soon to be three children. Second, it is easy for my son to buckle and unbuckle himself so my husband can focus on our other son during the fast paced school pick up and drop off. My son also feels like &quot;a big kid&quot; in this seat. My favorite feature is it will be the last seat I will have to purchase for my son since it converts into a booster seat when he is ready. The only negatives about this seat are mostly based on my previous car seat experiences heavily being with another brand. The high back booster mode with the adjustable headrest in the highest mode feels a little wobbly and unstable before installation. I feel like customer assembly can leave for room for error if instructions are not followed or are misinterpreted. The cushion on the seat is not thick and may be uncomfortable on longer trips. For these reasons I chose to use it in our secondary vehicle and feel it would be great for a grandparent, babysitter, aunt, uncle, or other part time caregivers vehicle. The Stellar Product Testing Panel sent me the Evenflo GoTime Sport Booster Seat and I do have to say it meets both requirements. My oldest is 6 and so has helped me review the booster as she is the primary user. Her favorite thing is that there are 2 cup holders, and going from none in her previous seat, this is a big deal! She uses this as a high-back booster currently, but we also tested the backless aspect. The backless mode got 2 thumbs up from the little one! The whole setup took less than 10 minutes from opening the box to putting in the car. The booster is very comfortable for her, and I love how easy it is to remove the cover for washing (car sickness is a real thing here). One comment is that I put the cover in the correct spots at the bottom of the seat, but they just keep coming out anytime the seat is moved. This is more an annoyance than a real issue as it's an easy fix, but something to be aware of. The height adjustment helps us get the right fit. The shoulder belt clip is my least favorite part. It's a little tricky to get the belt in there properly, and even harder to get it out. In her previous booster, she was able to do both easily on her own, but so far I've had to assist with this one. Overall, this is a solid seat and we will certainly continue to use it from high-back to backless over the next few years. The last thing she wanted to mention - what a fun pattern! Unpacking and assembling this seat was fairly simple as long as you read the manual and extra paper included that explained you would have to use some force to assemble the backrest. The seat overall felt flimsy in the back rest, while the backless booster seat portion feels very sturdy. Based on my child&rsquo;s age and size we were able to try this booster in high back mode. He was very excited about this booster seat, particularly the colorful triangle pattern on the seat. The seat was comfortable enough for shorter rides, but for longer trips the lack of padding in the lower back (based on your child&rsquo;s height for the headrest the low back is completely unpadded) and a less padded seat than other seats it would be uncomfortable. The headrest was easy to adjust and the car seat was simple to install especially with the light weight of the seat. The seat itself is wide though it does have two rigid cup holders built in. For families with multiple children this would make three in a row very difficult. Overall, I was disappointed in the quality and flimsy feel of the seat. It also does not have a tether which would make me personally feel as though my child was safer riding in this seat and would make it more convenient to not have to rebuckle the seat when a child is not using it. My favorite feature would be the colorful pattern which made the seat more appealing to my child. It was so easy to put together for someone who had never installed a child&rsquo;s seat and install in my vehicle and it also fit just as well in the Nanny&rsquo;s car. The colors are fun and attractive and the components come off for easy spill cleaning of which we had one. This booster came in 6 pieces, and was a little daunting at first, but it snapped together pretty easily, and the adjustable back is pretty easy to work with. The cushions seem comfortable enough for our daily trips, won&rsquo;t know about longer trips till later, but they seemed pretty comfortable. It was nice the first time buckling her in, as I was able to raise the headrest after attaching the seat belt, so it fit her shoulder height correctly. I have been up in the air on whether to go to a booster without the 5 point harness, but after other reviews, I feel good about this one. Plus, all boosters pass the same safety tests, and this one did well. I received this car seat from the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but had actually JUST bought another Evenflo booster much like this, and was able to return it when I found out this was on its way. So as much as I didn&rsquo;t spend for this, I was about to use one almost exactly like it. My only concern is the fabric feels kind of cheap, and it isn't quite as comfortable as I'd like it to be. The booster seat came unassembled and needed some minor assembly before use. No tools were needed to put it together. Assembly wasn't complicated but I didn't have the hand strength to snap the pieces together and needed help from my spouse. Once assembled, it's easy to adjust the head rest to the correct height for my child. My daughter is almost 7, about 48&quot; tall and 46lbs. This was her first experience in a booster seat. We used it in high back mode. The seat doesn't require any installation and just sits on the back seat. It generally needs to be readjusted every time she gets in the car because it is super lightweight and isn't anchored to anything, and if it isn't sitting just right I get a &quot;woah mom! I feel like I'm tipping!&quot; from the back seat. The seatbelt threads easily into the booster and is easy to buckle and unbuckle. As long as the seat is sitting level on the back seat, my daughter feels secure and the belt hits correctly at her shoulder and lap. I had my seven-year-old daughter try it out, and she helped me with this list of pros and cons: First, the pros: -It was fairly easy to put together and required no installation. -It has cup holders. -We liked the pattern! -The price point was affordable, although I didn't have to purchase the item. -The headrest is easy to adjust to the child's height, and it went tall enough for my girl! Now, the cons: -The headrest and sides were rather bulky and uncomfortable. -The arm rests were far too short for my 7-year-old. -The seat does NOT latch into the car. It just sits on top of the chair. This made it move around with every turn of the vehicle. Overall, neither of us were very impressed with the model. The main issue was that it was uncomfortable for my daughter to ride in, and honestly I wonder about its safety. It leaned to the side with every turn and I wonder whether it would be very effective in a crash. Yes, it meets the basic requirements for a booster by lifting the child into an appropriate height for the seatbelt. But if it doesn't stay in place, I don't see how his is helpful.
