<span itemprop="description">The new mechanism to keep the gate locked is not an upgrade from the old mechanism. The new mechanism slips over the end of the piece that tightens the gate and it locks onto the end of the piece. This lock is tough to unlock for a person with arthritis.</span>

<span itemprop="description">I’m using this baby gate for my 3 small dogs (10lbs each). While the sight of it is enough of a deterrent for my dudes, I can see how it might not be enough for more curious or relentless creatures - and it could topple over. The strength of the construction is lent what they used to be. And the latch takes some getting used to. I’d recommend this gate only to those with compliant kids/pups who need a visual reminder of their boundary.</span>

<span itemprop="description">The item Gate 202 is 23X26 dimensions ... the assembly is close to nothing. The instructions for wall caps mounting is so small its not worth trying to read, even my magnifying glass wasn't helpful; and I asked other to see if they could read it, none could.
What is wrong with the marketing dept for this company, they have a product that you could mount a poster board 2-2 ft with all the info needed and it could be made large enough for the average person to read ... my vision is 20/20 so its not that!
I'm sure the gate will work properly when I use it, so don't worry about the operation of it, my complaint is with a dumb marketing dept ....
