The bear is also made with very soft material great for cuddling. I originally had this in the crib with my newborn and then I found it with my toddler who was completely in love with the fact that they could carry around the firefly soother. I have now brought several more of these so each child can have their own as well as a spare in case anything happens to one of them. Pros: + Very cute baby bear stuffed animal + Stuffed animal is very travel friendly to put into a day bag or leave in the car + Firefly soother has multiple white noise background sounds, including two types of relaxing music, outdoors with crickets and fan white background. Our favorite is the fan white background noise. + There's two volume levels, which helps cover up other noises like going to the bathroom if you have your baby crib in the same room. + Firefly lights are warm and super cute; ​my older son (6 year old) like this more than the baby + The projected stars alternates between two lights to make the stars &quot;move&quot; on the ceiling Cons - The baby bear stuffed animal is flatter than I expected and the velcro, while good for hanging, will wear out over time. - Background sounds only last for 20 minutes. Ideally there would be no timer, so that you can have the white background sounds going on through the whole night, but I understand that this might greatly reduce the battery life. We have gone through one other white noisemaker and after a few nights, it broke. One workaround we found was to record your own white noise and playback on your phone on repeat through the night while charging. - Firefly lights are only in the front of the &quot;jar,&quot; which is more of an FYI. - The projected star option doesn't have a &quot;cover,&quot; so you can see the light bulbs on some of the wires inside. This doesn't impact the lighting, but it's more of a pet peeve since there could have been a thin plastic sheet to make the product more finished. TLDR: Depending on your price point, I think this makes a very cute baby gift set for a baby shower, but due to some of the drawbacks feature wise, I wouldn't purchase this for myself.
